That big westerly flow is pushing some cold air. That one in the gulf is warm and moist. We have been getting dumped on all day. Two feet new in the last two days at 1400' probably twice that another 1000' up.

In this one I love how well defined the tropical jet is.
Pretty cool how it drapes across the southern CONUS and then hangs a right and goes right up the east coast.
And the low in the center of the frame running into the brick wall high and just spinning.
