I have been putting in some days on both the 193cm Nordica Blower, and the 191cm Movement Goliath. Both are great skis. Blower skis bigger, likes big turns only, and is a bit of work to knock out quick turns. The Goliath has a lighter, snappy feel. For big turns and untracked snow the Blower is on top. For a more versatile ski and in chopped up crud the Goliath takes it. Oh and the Goliath wins in the graphics dept. I think a Goliath with Fritschi Freerides would be the ultimate.
This ski sounds interesting, anyone have any more information? Google keeps delivering this thread…Quote:

Movement skis will be available through limited retailers in the US next year.
As for Elan, their line looks great and I was super impressed with how far they've come lately. The super fatty, a.k.a., the Dance of Death, a.k.a., the M1111, is like 161-121-something, in a 184cm.
I saw a pair at Alpine Meadows on Sunday. The guy was too far away in the line up to ask about them. He also had "elan" binding on them.Quote:

I have been tempted to purchase the thunder ,pow pow & freeheel in years past- might have to pull the trigger next year.
Not quite seeing that G3 skis have been availible for a while. They have more than a little in common with the Movements, though the bigger Movement's didn't seem to make it into a G3 model.Quote:

I am not movement fan too. I tried thunders and evolutions, and the stability issue is absolutely true. Of the three friends who bought thunders this winter, none is happy with them.... actually they are all on sale, and one after a major delamination issue. One of the things that actually bother me, BTW, is that they wrote everywhere "movement, the swiss freeride company", but many of their sticks are made in tunisia. Not that I have anything against tunisia, it's just that they are not clear about thisQuote:
