I've only seen the catalogue picture and hot damn that looks even better in person. My frame is supposed to get here early April along with my new altitude. This and buying a house in the spring have me wanting winter to fly by and be done already, which is probably the first time in my life I've said that haha
I did forget to mention they're bring back the C99 builds back for next year and each one has it's own special color. The element is this rad looking dark blue with black accents and silver logo. They'll be built with full xx transmission, flight attendant suspension, the works.. all for the low low low price tag of $12k
Not sure if you’re talking to me or bamboocore - my plan is to buy a frame (new or used) and build up to be a lightweight XC rocket - both to have a Ferrari in the bike stable but also to hone my bike building/maintenance skills. I have a bigger bike that keeps me out of trouble on the steeper stuff.Quote:

Top cage fits a 750 or 1000ml bottle
Bottom cage fits 650-750ml bottle (with pump on the side of the cage)
below that is a tool wrap attached with granite portaledge and a ski strap. (multi tool, hanger, CO2, multi tool, spare bolts/cleats etc)

I have ridden all three. I would go with the rocky mountain because they took very good care of me on a warranty issue a few years ago. For me the transition was better at jank, and the rocky was more poppy. The trek was probably set up with too much sag in retrospect. it felt glued to the ground. These all are probably related to suspension set up, which was not thought out on a ride on someone else's bike.
Finally, whomever said take the one that is the best deal is probably right. All in, the differences are down to nuance that could be overcome with an angle set or token.
