Buying or building an office "shed"?

This, a simple shed roof gives you a much better roof and a place for potential mechanicals and or storage. The cargo box is a cool idea, but it needs refinement.

That's too bad. It's pretty much the same reason we have a big, inefficient, unreliable money pit of an suv rather than a useful, efficient and easy to drive minivan. I keep saying that I'm just going to go out with it one day and come back with something different. You know that look you get..... In your case it really would be the best way to solve so many problems and it covers the guest house thing for a while too.

There is no economy to using a shipping container unless you do no mods.

Trying to make it fit the building code makes it just as or more expensive that just stick building.

You have to be motivated to do it. The money doesn’t work out.

Yeah, plus the basic concept here of putting a finished, heated and electrified shed on an existing slab vs a proper foundation.
