you misogyny is so flattering.

I'm still stunned at how awful that first penalty kick was.
Just noticed Canada gets England in the next round. That's got to be a dream match-up for the host nation eh?
hope this isn't a rerun..
This is why commas are important:

^^^ Hilarious. 😅
Oddly the best website to keep track of the tournament is Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_F...39;s_World_Cup
Of all the misogyny on this board, and on this very thread, THAT is what you choose to pick on? that's funny.
We dumped cable/satellite TV this year, so I've been missing most of the games, which is too bad. I love watching the women's game, almost no diving, aggressive play, smart play, some awesome goalkeeping, it's got everything the men's game has without the fucking egos that constantly get in the way of better soccer. Male athletes at that level tend to be a bunch of primadonnas.
For anyone unimpressed with the women's game I suggest watching Japan and or Germany. Japan especially was really good, they even practice after the game.

Can vines be embedded?
laughing at the dude from Sports Illustrated getting grilled for hacking on womens soccer, getting called on it, then hacking on all womens sports in general....as seen on TV...

Great game going on right now, I have no idea who's going to win, France or Germany.
Nice match tonight, ladies. Always good to get a win without Rapinoe and Wambach (basically.)
That was a good game.
Too many missed opportunities, but they did enough to advance, and that's how the tournament is played.
Nice to see a header actually go on net too.
Yeah ,that was just a solid goal.
I'm sure some bro here will find something to criticize in it, but that was journeymen level soccer.
Great goal, but yes, lots of missed opportunities.
The offense was on all game though.

Agreed, and measured in time in China's 1/3 of the field it was no contest. Great job keeping the pressure on by the ladies all game.
Commentators were saying it was China's strategy to drop back everyone and clog their end, that sounds pretty risky to me and really exhausting.
that's the thing, the USA has failed to finish about 10 goals that they usually convert. For example, they had a bunch of great chances against China in the first half and if 2 of those go in, it is a rout and everyone's talking about how the offense finally woke up... Same thing really, all tournament long.
One example is Alex Morgan, she's about 1/2 step slow this year - or she'd have 5 goals already.
Not sure why FIFA put the top three teams (Germany, US, France) in the same half of the bracket.
Holy moly that was a beautiful goal
