Too many missed opportunities, but they did enough to advance, and that's how the tournament is played.

That's the hardest part of the game, IMO. You have to play aggressive offense for 90 minutes, merely for a reasonable chance of getting one, maybe two goals. But they did that tonight, and have reaped the rewards.Quote:

Commentators were saying it was China's strategy to drop back everyone and clog their end, that sounds pretty risky to me and really exhausting.
that's the thing, the USA has failed to finish about 10 goals that they usually convert. For example, they had a bunch of great chances against China in the first half and if 2 of those go in, it is a rout and everyone's talking about how the offense finally woke up...
