What do women want?
A rhetorical question at best; but altachic, you are above average for women. Do a lot of women ski up to 180?
Of course, there's a whole lot of guys that would probably appreciate that length as well. Hmmmmmm..................

Believe me, we'd love to do that length, or some other lengths, right now. But we have to proceed very cautiously, as we have started our ski company on a shoestring budget and make what I'm sure are the lowest margins in the business. One screwup and we're toast.
So it will require we get solidly on our feet before taking too big a risk. But right now, at this juncture, we owe everything to those of you who have preordered and believe in us, because your faith has helped us establish a foothold from which we can take the next step.
Once again, thank you all. You will not be disappointed.
I have not skied the G4s, so I'll defer that comparison to someone who has skied both. Hoodites???????
Just bumped our initial order to 75 pair, as we are pretty much sold out of the first 50. I also ordered an additional 75 topsheets and cores for when these sell out, which is expected, but the second 75 will be made in November or December.
Crash, the new version is soooo user friendly edge to edge compared to the stiffie you skied, but every bit as stable.
Adding 1 mm to the tip and the tail really improved performance in that category as well.
Just go to Paypal.com. It walks you right through the process.
If you have any trouble, shoot an email to info@pmgearusa.com and we'll give you an alternate pay method for credit cards.
If you do pay through Paypal, pay to our e addy: sales@pmgearusa.com
Thanks!
Yes it does, Scott. In these small quantities, we're not making much on the skis, so we wanted to take care of our own, then make some dough off the rest of the world. So now is the time.

I was holding it for someone who hasn't come through, so it's first come, first serve on this number. You beat him to the punch and it's yours. The reserve time limit for him has expired.Quote:

Sorry, bags - that person saw my previous post above saying his time was up, first come, first serve, and just paid.
Wow! I gotta say, we never in our wildest dreams expected so many of you to order skis. Thank you. It is our most sincere obligation to make certain your faith in us was well-placed.
Just wanted you all to know we completed the tail design change today to wrap the edge all the way around it. I had some concerns about rounding the tail until I talked to a few people who skin with twins. They said the square hook grabs a round tail just fine, so we went for it. Should allow limited switch for those who want it. The tail won't be as high as Gotamas.
MD9 is buffing up the graphics to fit a little better since the topsheet printer gave us his feedback. And everything is going accordng to schedule. So, again, thanks, everyone.
You guys are The Shit.
[end of day 71 report]
Shit, tibaher, somehow we're gonna make sure that ecommerce setup you hooked us up with gets you some skis. We're already using it! And it rocks!
10,000 views on this thread. wow.
Tibaher - gimme a call tomrrow after 10am. need to talk.Quote:

I only wish we could've processed all the pre orders through the site...
BTW
I just logged on and it still goes to pay pal... Need me to look into it? TwoPlanker?
Bueller?
new word = to've :) too've? 2've?
Don't see that happening, roo. With a wood core ski, you stand far less chance of a delam than in skis that are constructed with metal layers. Bonding wood to metal is completely doable, given the metal can be pre-treated for better adhesion, but metal skis are still far more likely to delam than glass on wood.Quote:

We cut apart quite a number of skis for construction and structural analyses. Was I surprised at what we found - most common: two layers of metal with foam or wood sandwiched inbetween. And metal is touch heavier. Also, we could well be the only company using traxial braid fiberglass. That braid you see in the topsheets of virtually every other ski (in which it shows) is biaxial. Our glass has an additional briad offset at 45 degrees for better torsional and longitudinal strength over time.
Pray for the riders - not the skis. They're gonna go way too fast and way too big. Due, of course, to the dampness of the Bros, which is attributable to our having added extra dampening layers.
Joshbu -
'Could well be' is not an exact statement of fact.
I would never accuse K2 of lying or exaggeration.
edit: I can, however, say that we have deconstructed a Launcher, and believe our glass is heavier and that we use more of it, yet our ski is a whole lot lighter.
Jeezuz, phUnk.......such a rhetorical question.
OK-
We're the only company that uses superkiller triax glass hand-spun by slave alien life forms that have colonized the small town of Rachel, Nevada, just outside Area 51.
Why don't you just give the whole story away?
Cool, Scott. That's so much cleaner than roo's wife defending him under the premise that she didn't log off.
BWAAAAAAA!!
Roo, get on the plane to Argentina - now!
Just developed a roll of film languishing in my camera. Here's Derek Fischer working the Bros at Hood..........
And again..............
No back seating the Bros to float and turn. That softened tip will allow a center>forward stance, pulver.
A cosmic computer reminder........I knew I forgot to pack something.
00X - Thanx, and stay tuned, dude. Cause our main model for the skis on our upcoming Argentina trip is the name-spoken-in-hushed-tones-because-he's-so-fukkin-awesome TeleRob from Kirkwood. You will not be disappointed when you see what his freeheeling insanity will do with a pair of Bros beneath him.
Well, this is the last day for the maggot special. We sold out the entire initial run of 50. Thanks everyone. I'll be posting pics from SA of the BroModels in action while the production of your skis goes forward. I can honestly say that this has been the busiest summer of my life. I didn't even have time to lament the fact it was summer, except while driving my Jeep without air conditioning because I didn't have time to fix the punctured condenser. Oh well, it should start geting cooler soon after we return, so I can put that off til next May.
Thanks for believing, everyone. Your skis will be on their way to you in 30-40 days.
splat
Just got the other pairs, packed and I'm off.
laters, gaters.
