Basalt rumors appeared to be greatly exaggerated. I was there afternoon only. Ski on to the lift after 1:30. The untracked trees, my skill let me down, but I think it was quite skiable if you could release your tails unlike me. Definitely heavier than what I’m used to.Quote:

Eldora has been great slushy fun the past couple of days. My six-year old son is progressing such that he’s going to be doing fully parallel turns on the blues just in time for the end of the season.

Bumping this up. Trying to see which day is better to set for the grilling. Fake closing 14th or Real Closing 21st? (You say it like Real Madrid.) Anybody else got a preference 21st v 14th? HawkGT’s account is f’d at the moment but he said he could do either day.

I am a maybe for either day, but likely will be at WP for fake closing day and more likely be able to make real closing (with my daughter).
