this Goshawk often likes to dine on our property.. Here about to dive into the hedge for go at a sparrow.. I was in the back working about a month ago when there was a loud thwack!! Thought I knew what it was and turned to see her carry a dove down in the front.. she'd smashed it out of a deciduous tree up there where they some times hang out.. and then don't for awhile.. Usually I just find the feathers..

this short-ear I got with the new EM1.2... 300F4 and 1.4tc.. it was heavily overcast and just before dusk.. iso 3200 got me 1/320 sec.. cropped a bit
even with the poor conditions the EM1.2 locked focus better than my EM5.2 does under good conditions (which I was hoping).. can not wait to get this combo out with some decent light

Snow squalls last night while snowblowing my driveway. Some were really intense and I took a few minutes to experiment with my camera, the snow, and the 50 watt LED floodlight on the side of my garage. Kind of some cool effects.
