Lurker to Jerker.
Nursed at Mt. Ashland, now up at Hood. Last seen at Meadows under express in a patrol sled. I added a new ACL to my quiver this summer and can't wait to demo it. I love skiing and giving my bank account information to hot daughters of deposed African strongmen.

EK splitboarder-rider. Looks like an amazing place to web hang! Can't wait to jump in!
Longtime lurker, stuck in the Southeast for the time being skiing 700ft. vert. of man-made snow.
Raised on the Cascade Concrete, been living/skiing CO for a few years and headed to Aspen this winter. Figured it was about time I joined the motley crew here!
I'm new here. Get used to it.
Lovin nugs,

Hi, I am new here. I have been skiing very well for many many years. Love the east. I've been told that if you can ski here you can ski Anywhere! I am thinking of going the "non" rental route this year. I am trying to locate a pair of Hart Camaro skis. I googles them and found one post on your awesome website. it was 6 years old but I posted anyways (you never know) Well I was immediately made little of and directed here so now I feel welcomed and one of you. Looking forwards.
Been viewing this forum for quite some time and decided to finally join. Grew up skiing Bluewood in WA. Now I'm finishing up by last year at the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) in Klamath Falls studying IT Systems Analysis and have been President of the Ski and Snowboard club for the past 2 years at OIT. Skied most of the North West still need to get out to Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming at some point.
First post. I didn't bring any boobs. I'll be sure to deliver them to the padded room when I get some.
I like to play outside. That's about it.
I have read the coolest threads from seemingly very cool people here. I look forward to learning more and seeing more boobs.
New here. Calgary. Skiing almost 30 years.
Happy to find a site that seems rad.
Someone said 'the first post should be worthy'. So, a story:
Lagging behind the group (I kept hiking back up a face to jump); the helicopter had landed and everyone was waiting. While I styled my fool-ass down, they started waving. I got some speed up to show off in the flat light and suddenly was airborne - accidentally gapping a creekbed..almost. I imbedded my skiis deep in the opposite bank and tumbled for days. They were warning me - I was too "rad" to pay attention.
The helicopter pilot laughed all the way home - along with everyone else.
Whatsup TGR
Another east coaster here
i put skis on, i ski down hill
Finally trying to get ride of my jong status
what the heck is jong? or is that a jong thing to ask
Hidee ho, finally found a place to talk skis! Can't wait to get started.
Hi all. Longtime lurker, recently started posting so I thought I'd introduce myself. Entering my second decade on skis, cut my teeth on the EC (Berkshire East, what!) crashing gates, found some powder at some point and never looked back. Skiing SW Montana these days after a stint in Colorado, and would love to meet up with some mags this season! (That is, when we're not all busy on here bitching about our snowpack)
Well this is an interesting thread. Let me make it more interesting by introducing myself. I'm here searching for pow like everyone else. BOOM.
Very well reprised.
aosom
I am old, slow, unskilled, and I live almost as far away from real mountains as possible. I am a gear junkie. I am also searching for pow.
I love this site, but it sure makes me procrastinate :) not complaining!
Hey, I'm new here. I've been skiing about 11 years, and am making my first trip to North America this year (living in the UK, I usually ski in the Scotland/France/Switzerland). I'll be skiing Kicking Horse and surrounding area for a couple of weeks starting after the new year. Hoping I get to ski some deep, fluffy powder on some sort of modified water ski (aren't I funny?) and that I don't run out of money for lift tickets half way through.
Hola. Been snowboarding for about 3 years, offroading for 3 as well. I'm a Colorado native currently surviving in Fairbanks, AK. I board Alyeska when I can get down that way, and moose mountain up here as well as the birch hill. Talk at ya!
Lurked for a while, hooked up by some righteous mags kind enough to trust a jong on some sweet gear deals, and thought it was time to say hello to the collective.
Designed a few missile engines and quit, rowed a few boats in the Ditch in summer and threw bombs in the winter for a few years and quit, flew planes for a few years and quit.
Now I row old boats with old friends and drink old whiskey when I feel like it. And if it snows again this season, I'll make a few turns with old friends and drink more old whiskey.
Drop a line if you're passing thru Reno.
TGR..mos def a longtime lurker but finally decided to join up. I am currently in Japan but soon hopefully will be back to good ol Montana. I have been skiing since I could walk and i would have to say its close to one of the loves of my life. I have spent some time in Fairbanks myself so i know what you mean by surviving. thanks for helping work pass by faster!
Yet another newbie. I'm from Europe, but I'll be in the rockies during whole February. Cheers
Time to do this, I guess.
Skiing since I was very young, not very young any more, but not old, either. Have been lucky enough to ski a lot of places, which doesn't necssarily mean I got real good or anything. In Idaho now, loving it.
When I'm not working, I'm generally taking the kids skiing, mountain biking, flyfishing, hunting, or just camping and hiking.
Hi everyone. New here. Been skiing on and off for 5 years, heading to BC in February for my first O/S ski trip! Very excited.
