Nice!
Thanks, it has been like a dream come true recently, catching the biggest trout of my life, repeatedly, and of course, it stokes me to fish more.
Today the whitefish wore out my nymph, I got a dozen of them, and one fine troutfish.

Currently in San Pancho. Took a panga out of Sayulita yesterday and hammered on the Mahi. Probably had 8-10 in the cooler. Brought the 8 wt and finally got one to eat. Fought him to boat side and he spit me at the last minute.
Ceviche for days.

Today I caught four different species, three different trouts and of course, whitefish. I dropped the foot long rainbow while I was getting the camera out, it was the biggest rout I landed today. Today I caught my first brown out of the Bitterroot, it was small, but something I wasn't expecting, so I was happy about it.

I caught nine whitefish, of which this was the biggest (and sadly the biggest fish of the day*):

Cutthroat or cutbow?

*I didn't land the biggest fish of the day, I hooked up on a big trout, and after a couple minutes of getting it close, it threw the hook. I was bothered by it even after catching half a dozen more fish, it was really big, sigh. However, the day was a good one, I caught nine whitefish and five trout, and that ain't bad.
Fine fall fishing continues.
The Reservoir browns seem a little late making their move upstream but starting to find a few

The weather report looked dismal, but after getting there, the weather cleared into a beautiful day.

Aside from a six inch trout, yesterday was all whitefish, three of them were pretty good sized, and fought admirably, this was the best of 'em.

Got out for a bit last weekend catching was slow but man what a beautiful day.

Fished while my buddies surfed at la lancha one day. Jack were everywhere. Landed a bunch, plus a Spanish Mack, a red snapper (I think) and best of all I caught a juvie rooster. Everyone else was fishing so I didn’t get pics of anything but the Jack as I was fishing chest deep. Roosters are so cool

First day fishing since surgery, nice to get out of the house. Leaving the house this morning I was worried, foul weather forecasted.
You can’t prove a forecast wrong if you don’t go…
Glassy day, floated on and watched the clouds encroach.
Got em here and there.

Forgot a knife and let him go, the second one I decided I wanted to bring some home to Mom. My son is a bit of a pacifist and was alarmed by my rip out a gill, put back in the net and let him bleed out technique. If I’m eating them I like them bled out and don’t mind a bit of barbary to get them there.
We weren’t out long, kept close to the ramp as clouds circled us.

I guess if it isn’t going to snow, we’ll just keep fishing. Stellar weather and had the place pretty much to ourselves.

Beautiful big trouts!
It was cold and gray for most of my time on the river, but the sun came out for about forty minutes, and it was pretty.

Catching trout has become less and less frequent. Catching whitefish on the other hand has not. Seven white fish and one trout today.

I bought 3 new reels for the upcoming season and immediately took out the noisemakers.

So, I guess the clicky sound is an offense unto you..... seems like you have the situation well in hand.
All I seem to have in hand anymore is whitefish:

In spite of a clear sunny day, the water temp was 32 degrees, ice was forming in my guides, and I only got one strike in three hours, but it payed out with a footlong trout.
