Ya just wanted to give you all a bit of a laugh :D Really though, was already a bit apprehensive about the amount of tail I'll have on this ski, so definitely will be looking to get this sorted out!

Related question... anyone know what the deal is with Line's 'stance back from center'? This is on a 183cm Vison 108 which measures 182cm straight, with the rec line printed 6cm back from my measured center (which matches what Blister state in their Vision 108 review). The shop mounted about 2cm in front of the printed line. Buuut, Line's website lists this 'stance back from center' thing at -4.53cm. What gives?

How come you didn't you ask the shop why they mounted them 2cm forward ?

maybe 2 cm forward was recommended by an athelete or sft ?

where are they are suposed to be mounted ?

Wtf? No jig should “push” your mount .5 cm forward. Either midsole on jig is marked wrong or jig is trash and should be in, the, trash…

The plastic Pivot jig did this and even had a note in the tech manual about it.... but generally speaking in this day and age jigs don't "push the mount forward" shop techs who fucked up do tho.

it was a pivot jig and I think plastic.. but can't remember cause I mount my own skis w paper templates now.

jig could've been trash but not my jig not my shop not my problem

Didn't ask because I didn't notice until I was back home. Had asked for them to be mounted on the recommended line. Will chat to the shop about it this week. Thanks!

Oh yip, watched that video. So K2/Line's stance measurement is from the 'core' center, which differs slightly from the straight tape center.

Not that you can tell where the core center is, so just trust the rec line printed on the ski then hey.

Probably not conflicting more so the toe screw sizes change over time / model.

The pan heads are just a style of screw the Pivots uses in the heel. They have those thicker flat on both sides (pan) heads. The reward and forward heel screws are different lengths due to the inconsistent thickness of the base plate. I don’t recall seeing the pivot heel screw sizes change over time or recall the toe using pan heads.

Those a machine threaded screws for skis with inserts installed. Is that what you're looking for? If you're after replacements for factory pivot screws, they are a bit harder to find.

oh shoot.. thanks for catching that. im after factory replacement screws.

Top to bottom:
Stock pivot heel screw
Cast heel riser screw
Slidewright 18mm pz#2 panheadhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...405b0add83.jpg

Those are your options for the longer heel screws, I'm not aware of anything else out there but still hoping someone has a better solution. You can buy a CAST hardware pack that comes with 4 of the long screws.

The toe screws and short heel screws are easier to find. Can't remember the exact lengths of those.
