mexican food is not a big thing up here, so I would eat those hard shell tacos and they just crumble in my hands so be it corn or flour I prefer eating a soft taco
I'd like to think I invented this, but like most of my million dollar ideas probably done before.
But anyway, take your favorite tortilla of any variety, food in half, drop in toaster. So quick, so easy, so perfectly lightly browned. The gf heats up the easy bake, and I've seen others spend all kinds of time on the stove, plus getting them all soggy with various fats.
But as noted early on in the subject, tacos do what variety you want. Enchiladas stew in liquid, and corn holds up better. Especially for leftovers.
True story. Mrs. Seano’s grandmother had 17 (!) kids. Because they couldn’t afford as much ground beef as they needed for all those mouths, she would add diced potatoes to the meat to stretch it out…. To this day, Mrs. Seano makes them that way, and it’s fucking delicious. And corn tortillas FTW.

Tacos dorados are legit. Really not to be confused with what most people picture when you say hard shelled tacos.
