RIP Alex
Night two of a four night run at the Cap back in 2012, this was a stellar lineup of friends Phil pulled together for this run. This band could hardly get a song done in under 7 minutes
John K, Jackie Greene, Joe Russo, Alex Korford

Third night, if you've never heard Jackie Greene sing a Sugaree here's your chance

Totally! Three nights prior at my home court - oh that eleven...

Just a shoutout for the youtube matrix/synced video recommendation from a few weeks ago. My wife and I have been digging those. SO much fun.
^^ right? I think I heard of it from a deadhead I know, goes by Josiah At the Rail. Dude has the longest track record of rail riding of anyone I've ever met, rode the rail every night at the FTW Chicago shows.
And night four at the Cap, who doesn't love a big bulky Here Comes Sunshine?

This has already been discussed in other venues—it’s not Betty or Candace and it’s March or summer 81. I forgot the details
Found this Thanksgiving lineup from Austin’72. Neat bar hopping oddity to amuse and entertain.
This released this week... in my current state of post-op painkillers and love of jerry jazz it has been a dreamy afternoon.
Just laying around listening to shows while I heal up from a surgery and god damn the boys delivered when playing this night in Oregon. Jerry really lets fly an absolute ripper of a The Music Never Stopped starting at 54:30! I almost got up to dance...

A long article but it covers a lot of ground. A good start for the uninitiated fledgling ‘head.

After melting my brain pain down with some scorching shows from '77 the last few days, I needed to chill out. How? 1970 Acoustic set...

50 years ago today... 12/23/70. Bloody Murder, Bloody Murder! ... Hey, hold it ... Merry Christmas OK!
Happy New Years !
Finding myself living in a house with a peloton has reinvigorated my listening - Loving 83 Jerry moves right now, wasn't visually pretty but he was deep in the strings when engaged -
love that 2nd set Estimated Eyes opener

^^^ Yeah, here is video of that show and Jerry is chin down looking pretty rough. I've been digging some Estimated>Eyes lately as well and this is a good one as you say. One of the quickest paced/uptempo Eyes ever.
Thats the one , aww man he is not feeling any pain, playing like his life depends on it though..... Must donate to the Hazard project! ( although - maybe some years we don't want as much visual clarity? )
Just before boarding the planes for Europe '72. The band was chatty and feeling good introducing "our new piano player Keith" and joking about "psychedelic dildos and Steely Dan". One of the sweetest Looks Like Rain that I've ever heard.
Are those two young ladies checking out Garcia’s backside? Those monitors and the whole setup looks so janky, love this band.

Funny I was looking at the same photographers collection over weekend, really good stuff.
That 75 golden gate park show is groovy to say the least.

If you have some spare time (80 hours), someone has put together a list of all GD sit ins from '66 to '95.

Isolated Jerry

That's quite a list of guest stars - if you weren't really paying much to your usual listens (me) you missed out on quite a bit.
those isolation tracks are cool - With all of the new years shows through the years on various feeds this times of year I wonder what Etta James vocal track would sound like.....
Did you know that Bernie auditioned to be their keyboard player in the transition between Pigpen, TC, and Keith? The mittens were a problem
