I resolve to get out and shoot this weekend. Events have conspired to shut me down for the last few weeks and it's messing with me.

Sweet shot nateski. I was just thinking about this exact scene a few days back as I've never actually come across one myself. There's something really magical about the wing prints in the snow. Nice find.

mtcham, that truck is awesome. Mind telling me where its at?
Been wanting to shoot the flowy river aspect and finally bought a ND-8. Think I may need one or two more for more intense daylight. Fun stuff!!
G-the vintage plow is up high on Jackson Cr. on the north side of the road. Sunrise would put some great light on it. My shot was about 1:30pm.
^^^ And I officially want some ND-8's :D Nice
Love this thread. One day I'll figure out my SLR and post something.
Where I stayed this past weekend high above Berchtesgaden, Germany. Jenner Ski Area is a short 15 minute hike via maintained winter trail to the right.

Aenigma? Did you do that on purpose? It looks kinda like the film didn't advance all the way or something? Or was that what you were going for?
Right on. I see what you mean. I'm actually using an SB600 for my flash. I normally either bounce off the ceiling or use an index card to bounce the light. Rarely do i ever do a direct flash on my subject. Nonetheless, I do see the the shiny highlights you're talking about. Thanks
So many fantastic pics. I love the bouncy puppy flashlight shot but you definitely have to know what it is to truly appreciate it. It makes me laugh.
