What does the 7-10 day forecast look like for Vail? I'm not a weather expert, but the tools I have looked at tell me that days 1-7 aren't very promising for snow. I'll be out there the 17th through the 24th.

Some precip on the way Thursday thru Saturday. Looks like it's coming from the SW.
SW flow fo sho, however the pattern becomes more progressive so the blocking Omega High finally moves out of the way and opens the door for precip and more normal type temps
snow was good at snowmass and highlands...and it looks like people are hitting up the high backcountry in marble, skiing some sick lines up there...snow seems nice and stable thus far
