350€ pretty good deal
399€ for the 182 or 192, but still a really good deal. Anyone ever orderd from snowcountry?
Sport bittl has the superblackops for 448€ in 192. I wish there were a size between the two, something like 186-8. That would be ideal for a DD
I am 175 and ski the 180. it is ok for fooling around and the odd pk corduroy morning lap. But I downsized significantly over the years.
No experience with snowcountry.
There is a matching look binding for the super black ops too!

172 was 43% when they had them so it is just showing last price. 162 is 50% and looks like in stock.
I have bought from them a few times and has worked very well.
Places like Corbetts will have skis like the Super Blackops 98 at 40% off in early March which is $510 CAN/about $360-$370 US with free shipping. Lots of pivot bindings options on deals then too.
The 182cm was fine for my 175lbs mounted back a bit as a fun daily that can still grip well when wanted. Had mine -1.5cm/-6.25cm total and it was perfect. If you're over 200lbs, the 192cm isn't demanding at all and you could stay closer to the rec mount bump to be more playful and have it ski shorter.
Current DD is 192, so that wouldn't be a problem as such. I'm just thinking if I'm going to be pottering around with my 3yr old I might want something a tad shorter. 182 seems just a little too short, esp. if real world measurement is more 180cm
Actually below 180cm tape pull so maybe a 184cm Sender Free 100 would be more fun. More rocker, splay and a hair more taper than the BO 98. Got a pair last week and liking it so far. Going to take it for my daily driver travel ski on a trip out west along with my BO 118.
Thanks noslow, I'll have another look at the sender free.
190cm.... and fat
Ok. Faction dancer 2 187cm
ATM-20% with Sport Conrad I bet prices will drop soon.
I have never fondled the ski but the ct2 where pretty similar to bo98
Another ski with the same shape and different flex (more soft/still responsive & homogenous) is the 1000ski park but price is 800€
1000skis! Forgot about them, read an article on them in last seasons skiing? Sizes are spot on, I'll see if prices will drop.
If anyone in the Salt Lake area is interested I have a pair of used Squads I’m thinking about selling. I used to ski them a lot and love what they offer but came to prefer something quicker and more dynamic.
Crumb, I’m interested but can’t PM you.
I took the BO 118s out on a firmish spring day today where on paper they make no sense, but man, they absolutely slayed it. A ski this big just shouldn't be so much fun on hardpack. What a hoot.
Always think that the Blackops 118 makes no sense how great it grips and carves on firm early morning snow and then kills it when things turn to crud in the afternoon. Incredibly versatile ski!
Biggest problem with the BlackOps 118? Doesn't fit in east coast gondolas. Disaster at Killington and Tremblant for me.
Separate and put in the snowboard holder on the gondola. Have to do that on the gondolas that don't have the in-between sizes on the racks outside like most modern ones do.
Was on my set of Blackops 118 today after skiing the new Sender Free 100 the last few days in Revelstoke. Like the new SF 100 but wished it had more damping to quiet it on firm snow along with more edge bite on harder conditions(already at 1/3 on them). Think I prefer my old BO 98 or especially my new Enforcer 104 in loud/firm snow.
Got onto my BO 118 with only a few inches of fresh over firm and they absolutely killed it today. Easy and confidence inspiring through early morning ice marbles on some runs and gripped the groomers with ease(also 1/3 tune on them). Totally smoothed out the terrain and were a riot in the trees.
Really is a very special ski and floored 3 years later on how great they are every time I get on them.
BlackMagic 118
I should probably pick up a backup pair in the off season since Rossi will surely discontinue this ski soon.
Been following the SF one hundred chatter for a while as it’s a contender for my next ski purchase in the ninty to one hundred width. Also considering the following: BO ninety eight, enf ninety nine, unleashed ninety eight, m-free one hundred. Looking for a fun, poppy, playful ski but still with some dampness and carving ability. This would fill a gap between an enforcer one o four and volkl deacon eight four, both of which I love. Also considering a mirus core in addition. Any input would be appreciated.

BO98 is becoming one of my favorite carving skis in a long time. Holds an edge so absurdly well and is so poppy transitioning between turns. Awesome low tide ski. I’m just getting back from a broken foot so relegated to groomers for a bit and been having an absolute blast on these
Still not particularly loose or floaty in chop due to the lack of rocker, and the 192 isn’t the best in larger moguls, but a damn fun on piste ski
Excited to try out my 118s hopefully later this week

Posted in the Sender Free 110 thread but again on the BO 98 being and excellent carver and quite damp fur it's weight.
Was on my Blackops 118 in just a few inches yesterday and they are such an insanely great ski. Do everything well. You'll love the SF 118!
