Major sluffing on upper-elevation north face steeps, but no major instabilities. Snow seems to consistently be coming in right-side up.
Same obs as RTR. Some wind effect just off the ridges, but a few turns down the turning conditions were excellent. One person in our party pulled out a very small pocket off of a north facing ridge, but other than that everything seemed to be pretty welded into place.
Lots of people out in the pen yesterday. I was surprised how much was getting tracked out the day after a storm.

That foot made for some fun skiing. Very un-wasatch like surfy and fast conditions. Nice to change it up. Yesterday things were baking - even in the morning before direct sun. S faces even around 9k in upper LCC were a mess by 1 or 2. Surprised not to find any sensitive wind drifts as we were stomping around on the exposed upper LCC ridgelines the last few days. Couldn't find anything too reactive.
I'm sure you can find some great riding conditions on the north side of the rose until the next refresh. Hopefully hear about turning conditions today... as I'm not gonna get out.

yea we popped a cornice for the entrance up top and my buddy ate shit pointing it outta the chute to wind slab haha
wow, give yer buddy a high 5 from me for eating shit, but continuing the path of his turn/terrain with his flailing body. it's one thing to eat shit, another to eat shit well and hardly mess up the aesthetics of yer track.
again, beaUTAHful photos. do you get paid for that kinda work? cuz you should. the quality reminds me of mr atheys photos of all things floral.

the skiing off clayton peak north face was tits on wednesday - not many takers so the pow was fresh all day - there was slab on the ridge line - about 6" deep - but everything was stable on the downside.

Pretty wet pacific storm on the way for UT. SW flow should make snow a little heavier and wetter as temps will warm aloft. Don't think we'll get a true upside down event with rain anywhere in the column. Most likely there will be fat wet flakes at times with a little iced out flake shape mixing in.
Gridded medium range models spitting out a ton of moisture already (near 2 inches). I'd suspect that there will be more like pockets of 2.25 or 2.5 along the higher terrain- esp. SW facing slopes as the storm will roll in from that direciton and orographic focing will up totals.
