My family's dog Maggie. German shepherd/husky. One of the wussiest big dogs I've ever met, but it doesn't matter.
With me and brothers all gone, and the giant golder retriever next door having moved away, this is pretty much all she does anymore:

My Dad trying to feed her peanuts. She goes apeshit over peanuts, and snicker doodle cookies.

We know for sure that her mother was a full breed aussie shepard with that brindle coloring. Apparently her father may have been some type of lab, which is where she gets her body type, sans the smaller size.
Just got back from the vet, looks like next vaccination is on hold until she gets better...most likely kennel cough :frown:
Anna is one cute little girl
That sucks. So many rescue dogs weren't treated that well. My older dog Maddie was probably a little abused. She's almost 11. She's adjusted, but there are definitely still some signs that she was treated poorly before I got her.

This little shit wasn't abused at all. But he did meet the edge of a ski the weekend before last.

On one hand, harming a dog via either active anger or passive negligence just keeps me so steamed. On the other, I am extremely happy to help her start a new life. Good on ya for helping out your pooch as well.
That last little guy seems so dejected, but cute as all hell. I know how he feels, I dropped a ski edge on my toe a few weeks ago and can finally wear shoes again.
This is Marbles. Sadly, she had to be put down less than a year ago because of a cancerous tumor. :frown: I won't get another dog, until I have more than 600 square feet of living space.

This is the new boy, Porter. Newfie-labs are awesome dogs.
Most often he's seen like this:

But once in a while he gears up for this kind of action:

He's more social than our Becka was, so we're considering getting him one of these to play with:

That's Annie. She's a samoyed-aussie mix.
