When life gives you an ice rink for a driveway, take up hockey. I used to freeze my backyard in Detroit. My dad said ok as long as I took the garbage out to the alley.

I Like it. I'm not going to say anything about the price.
My parents just chuckle at the prices of Eichler's and Cliff May's in Southern California. When they got married (1957) you could buy one for under $20,000. Oh, and the furniture at Frank Bros in Long Beach. That was a bit more pricey for young couples but compared to prices today for original Danish pieces..
Let's see how long this price bump lasts. Probably a long while, I figure. COVFEFE taught people they don't have to be in a city, and off they went buying in those towns they visited for a few summer weekends.
Outside used to do a story about them every year. Does it still?
Boulder is an expensive market. $2.5M for 3,600 SF may seem nuts but $690/SF is reasonable by local standards. I moved my family across town last year and our renovated 1920s-era bungalow that wasn’t nearly as nice sold for $770/SF.
Just saw this on Reddit - they bought a warehouse and built out the inside with a few apartments and a big-ass garage (with urinal, a nice touch). The guy (girl?) who did the work split with their partner and is selling it.

Man the amount of work that went that. They shoulda just divided it in half.
That is a fire trap. I can't believe that passed any inspection.
Here's one for $2.5 million. It's in Ohio, but at least it's Summit County with some biking and hiking nearby. And fewer bros than Boulder.
Whoever staged the house really went for gilded and frilly. Not a fan.

This table in the bathroom is hilarious; was that a troll by their stager / interior decorator?

That place reminds me of Larry Flynt's office. (Yes, I've been there.)
was going to post the other day that the owner of this place https://www.facebook.com/HatcherPassLodge is getting old and is probably close to selling. Well he passed away today. Have no idea what will happen with the lodge. Pretty sure you could get it for less than 2.5 million. RIP Hap
No fire separation between the garage and the hipster living area. Egress in that bedroom looks non-existent, too.
I wouldn’t want to live in Philly, but that place is seriously cool. Frankly, firetrap and all, if I lived in Philly I’d be all over that place.
But you'd still be in Philly. *shudder*

two lots: one commercial warehouse next to residential lot
they put a skate pool in the warehouse and ran a sound production company (or something adjacent) with a residence upstairs

That’s rad.
