If that's really a Rembrandt it's not a very good one. Not that I know anything about Rembrandt, or art.

College is such a roller coaster of I don’t get it to alright that makes sense to fuck this is too much to wow that’s really cool to oh shit again
Yup. This is exactly why why you go to college. Awesome.
Tell them civil.
Every municipality, town, area, region needs civil engineers for construction building and planning.
Aerospace you are confined to places where aerospace is designed and built, which isn't very many places.
Mechanical is somewhat more broad and flexible in location than aerospace but not as much as civil.
This amuses me as I am not part of an HOA

As much as that sucks, I have a hard time feeling sorry for anybody who buys into an HOA in the first place. You should pretty much know what you’re getting into by this point.

Apparently he told her her, you’ve gotta hold on, ready or not. You live for the fight when that's all that you've got
The author of that letter should have stopped at the "To" line.
Oh yes; she reminds me frequently.
She's doing a basic math and physics right now. Got 100% on her first calc quiz and felt confident about her first physics exam.
I encourage her not to worry about the major, just take some of the basic required intro stuff and find out what she thinks is cool. Follow that up when she has a better idea of the topic, profs, vibe of the department and all that stuff. I think all this rushing into a career is beyond stupid. She'd be a scary lawyer though. Ask me how I know.
See above.
Admittedly, I went on the super space math path by college junior year on into grad school: algebraic topology, the least useful branch of math evar. And when I wasn't good enough to land a job where I wanrted, I ended up solving problems for engineers who didn't really understand the underpinnings of the shit they were trying to do. Blew out of that and ended up programming which worked out.
Point being: learn some stuff and be able to pivot in the direction new tech takes.
Glad to hear you didn't get stuck in a local minimum
