I left Loveland about 1:30 yesterday and traffic back was fast and easy. Today looks like a different story.

Yeah I’m in it. Messy. 2.5 from basin to 40. Still stop go. Worth it. It was so great out there today!
there are a few named paths along there and annoying when we want to start riding up to Vail pass late spring (they kinda keep the rec path closed).
is the big one that often goes into the creek maybe called Big Mike's?
Yeah, Big Mike, but I don't know if that's the one in the vid. Big natural slide.
In Utah you get interlodged for avalanche danger. In co for traffic. From the Abasin a frame with a couple mags.
Thanks for the compliment but if I was smart I probably would have become more than a ski bum. Oh well.
And no worries just making a pseudo joke.
The notion of pseudo yelling at the wife is kinda funny in a poundmetoo way. But more germane to the thread, I'm willing to bet people of any gender having arguments in person and or on the phone/text contributes to a large % of accidents.
As for what to do to avoid accidents don't have the energy to debate that one right now.
Ski on pseudo brotha man.
About sums it up.
Monday will be nice thoughhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7704b02512.jpg
Bottom of Loveland pass in Keystone block Loveland pass and keystone main parking exit. Still stuck at Abasin why did CDOT think it was OK to divert I70 to US6 if people on I70 couldn't handle it. Us6wb diverted to eb lane
KSboarder reported over 2 hours from Abasin to Keystone
Dang! Glad I left Abasin early to ski with the wife at Keystone. Took a while even then at noon.
2nd slide in the canyon buried some cars and I70 closed at Frisco an Vail.
Cdot Twitter says that 70 is open in Edwards despite two plows parked on 70 blocking both lanes. Government at its finest
I think that was the first slide. Here's some pics of the 2nd one I found on facebook.

Left Boulder at 5:30 AM, got to Vail at 9 AM. Left Vail at 3 PM, got to Boulder at 8:30 PM- dozens of spun out cars on the west side of the tunnel causing mayhem. A truly Epikonic experience, but almost worth it for 25"+
We were turning around at keystone after being duped by the CDOT twitter saying the pass is open for the 2nd time when this happenned. We were going underneath 6th to merge back and go westbound and we see this semi REVERSING in the left lane of the right side of the road on 6th right next to us. No idea how the driver got himself in that one or how long he was reversing down the wrong side of the road. I merged into the lane next to him and sped the fuck out of there. Hilarious this guy thought he could turn that thing completely around in a 2 lane road with a retaining wall and snow ditch on either side. We had to be one of the last cars to squeak by this guy.
Overall skied knee deep powder for 4 hours and sat in the car for a total of 9 hours, worth it kinda?
Some intense pics, and more people looking to assist getting clocked by motorists...

"Westbound Interstate 70 at mile marker 208, near the Eisenhower Tunnel, was closed after several crashes Sunday morning, including two bystanders who were hit while trying to assist people in other crashes."
