Keep getting "Post Denied" trying to reply to... anything...

Is there a right of passage us new users need to unlock posting/reply/PM abilities?

Update. No longer getting Post Denied messages. Not sure what happened there.

I'd like to talk about skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows and mountain biking but there is some weird undocumented rule about posting or...do they even allow new members here?

Don't use links for the first dozen or two posts. Obtusely, this means "reply with quote" as well since that auto links to the previous comment and you'll be stuck in approval hell.

I tried to register using an email multiple months ago but I never got the activation email and when I reached out via email I never got a reply. Who should I talk to to get it all squared away?

I had to create a new account after I somehow got locked out of my old one (LCCKid). Now I can't attach photos, can't PM anyone, can't create threads, and can't reply to threads in the gear swap. I don't remember having this issue years ago when I originally made my account. Anybody able to help me have advice?

PS: I have read and understand the forum rules, if that makes a difference whether my account will work or not.

I'm sure I used to have a post count. Then I went away for ages. Now I don't...
