That's a stunning car. Is that a 348?

355; successor to the 348. Really neat car.
Found this cool picture.

F355 Berlinetta GTS. Sick. Those are the "affordable Ferraris" now. They will be the next ones to go crazy.
HRE drool.

When I was learning to drive that was the new Ferrari mid engine. 380hp v8 w 5v/cyl iirc, low center of gravity, classic car. Refined the looks to make it a little smoother than the 348.
I saw a red 348 today. A little later got passed going 90 by an m4 doing 120+
I regularly get dropped like that. I go through all of Westchester on prime three laners five days a week. Some of the cars I see are phucking phenomenal and the velocities they travel at are scary. I'll be rolling 25-30 over, see one in the mirror and barely have time to slide over as they literally dust my ass.
I wish I had time to grab the phone more often to get pics. Yesterday I saw a shiny new McLaren that was straight up droolworthy. A few hours later the gaudiest rig of the year went by, a chrome Countach with a ricer exhaust left people on the sidewalk wondering: Why? This thing was a mirror finish bumper to bumper with mirror tint and chrome wheels. Fuggin ugly shit but kinda cool ?)
That 458 is so beautiful, but the R8 5.2L is coming into price range way quicker.
Yep. I don't think the 458 will dip much, due to it being the last NA mid-engine Ferrari. Love that car.
The R8, however, will continue to fall. I saw a 2012 V10 manual for sale the other day for 112K. Thats a whole lot of car for 112.
I am currently driving a 16 911 Turbo S. It's not even that much fun to drive, because it's so damn fast.
^^^ Too fast?!?
I've seen some 911s spool and take off and all can say is "Want to touch the hiney ... " as they recede into the distance.
That kind of acceleration definitely looks like it would take a getting used to.
O-60 with Launch Control is 2.8 seconds.
GT3 is a better car, for 50k less. These are more cruise machines.
I have been in a Turbo S, with a Porsche Instructor, and they are amazing on the track. The limit is just too high to enjoy on public streets, without going to jail. Not a joke. Porsches are getting too good.
They are just too efficient, if that makes sense. The 458 has more feeling. Same with a V12 Vantage, which costs about the same, but is not nearly as quick. I've got a buyer for this car, and it's perfect for him.
Soiled, boxer, Porsche... I see what you did there :D
On your point though, I have a question about your business Beer Drinker, feel free to answer or not. I'm curious, why would a buyer go through someone like you when they can presumably get a '16 Turbo S from the dealer.
Sure I understand supply and demand but I don't think ordering a new Turbo S is that difficult. I could be wrong. When I'm at the dealer it's for oil changes and ogling new models, so what do I know.
Typically, I buy low mile used cars, for wholesale. Sell for more.
In this instance, I acted more as a broker. Dealership paid me, and the client paid me. Client got a better deal, than he could've negotiated. At the end of the day, client doesn't want to be bothered with buying cars.
I am transitioning into higher priced vehicles. Trying to get out of depreciating cars.
A friend of mine wants to buy a GT3. Recently, he was told that they are very difficult to find, and it would cost at least $100K over sticker.
lol.
GT3 RS maybe, but GT3s are easy to get. He might have to look outside his local dealers to find one at MSRP, if he wants brand new. Or he could buy this one.

Right, the RS. He has been in touch with almost every dealer in the USA.
This is a guy with quite a stable. I'll pass the link on. Thanks.
Yeah. If he wants a 991 GT3 RS, he is going to have to pay up.

Worked a DE at Road America last weekend, There were several GT3's there and a couple of cup cars.
The best toy was a 1999 P333 owned by a doctor from Chicago.
Huh, so they pretty much start appreciating right away?
A porsche with an auto tranny is bad enough, but an elec. trunk? GTFO that alone would make me walk away
Gt3 are so rad, ultimate fun drivers car thats also very fast.
Every supercar has gone dual clutch. Lamborghini and Ferrari don't even make manual cars. At least Porsche still has the option. Aston Martin too.
I know that. When I drove the Aperta, I got out wondering to myself how cool it would have been if the veh. had a clutch....same with the 458 Italia. There was nothing as pure as the "grid" transmission shifter on the older ferrari's.
I was referring more to the elec. trunk. Kind of gives it that going to the mall car vibe to me. I'm kind of an old RS America type guy.
Want.
Actually the 2017 Zr1 will most likely have a DCT.
http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...st-150k-reportQuote:
A small-block V-8 will remain the powertrain of choice for the new ZR1—it’s an exotic but not that kind of exotic—and there’s a strong possibility it will come with a single transmission: a seven-speed dual-clutch. By the time regular C8 Corvettes arrive, however, a manual transmission should also be available. We could also see the new ZR1 adopt hybrid technology to ensure it can keep up in the technology stakes against its German and Japanese rivals.
Mid engine vettes? No manual trans on a lot of new models across brands... me no likey.
Lifted off fb
Helped this kid back it up cuz reverse is broken. 1978
GT4s sound like a great car.
Manual only.
