It’d be a good idea to put some pictures in the Ullr thread.;) Though this storm approaching has some promise.

Thinking about making my way down. Sounds like still just man made? Hope it gets going.
Everywhere else is fat
How does it look down there?
Thinking about using the three days from my A-Basin pass soon.
Taos virgin here.
My pass is blacked out right now, but this storm on the way looks good. Still a little early, but give it a few days.
Edit: IOW, most of the good stuff isn’t open yet, and the place is crawling with Texans on holiday.
Sweet
It'll take me a couple weeks to get down there. Skiing pommerelle/beaver/eagle point/sunlight/cooper en route to Taos
It’s getting better

Great skiing today at Taos. The wet warm storm was optimal density for base building and pleasurable skiing. Gracias a dios for Taos’s high elevation

I'll be on the hill almost daily for a couple few weeks starting Sunday. Hollar to spin some laps in the sun!
We departed but frontside runs opened Wednesday

Soft cruising on the hill today. Crowds are leaving today, up to 20" starting tomorrow. Shit is going to be popping. Get here if you can.
Nice, didn’t see that you had a TR going before, nice pics! That snow is surely needed

Well turned out to be 3-4" each day for a few days. But the refresh is nice. Looking forward to being here later in the season when it's more filled in. Shit is stumpy and boney still..
Update: nuking all day here. Braille skiing. Tomorrow is going to be stellar
Yeah, awesome stuff. Stoked for you and the Taotians

Country Club status on the hill yesterday.
Dude on the lift last week said Taos is going to drop ikon. As a future Taos skier I approve.
I don't think taos is overrun by ikon like many other places.
Dude may have had no clue. Time will tell.
Rolled back into town yesterday. Sunny pleasant cruising on today. No crowds.
Blaster of a storm starting tomorrow apparently. Should be a good week. Tue may be wind hold.
I'll be there Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sweet let's get blown around
I just booked.
Powder pilgrimage for Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
Will have a passel of pow-skis and change for a nickel.
:D
Calling for up to 3 feet now. Freezing cold wed. Heading up to the hill in a bit.
Snow and a mini. Sweet.
I'll be there for a couple days in a month of Mondays. Things are shaping up.

I've got passes to the fitness center at the bottom of the hill. If closed we can soak and talk about how rad we are. I'll call the local swedish bikini team to join us
Yeah tomorrow and wed could be rough. Pleasant sunny ghost town today.
Rocks are mostly gone fyi. Whatever snow falls is on mostly skied in white stuff. Was boneyard a month ago.
Looks like Taos is currently pretty much closed, as predicted by the locals. :D
Wind is HOWLING on the ridge. https://live2.brownrice.com/embed/tsvridge
Should make for some nice Hidalgo/Juarez laps when they get it open...
Yeah pfluffenmeister and I running laps on one. Deep seas. One chair. Wind is ripping.itll be a good week. Always a good time at Taos.
Have they opened Katchina lift yet this season?
Yep - they had hike-to open a few weeks back, and before this storm I saw folks on the lift up the peak.
Have they stuck to the plan of opening Kachina to hiking first and then opening the lift a couple days...or months! later?
