I was more in to Toadies and Tripping Daisy for alternative in the 90s. Radiohead just didn't strike a chord with me.

Saw the Crowes with Michael Schenkar at The Ritz in NYC 1990. Had VIP passes..

I see Chris Robinson in town here about once every 3 years or so. Once when he was with Kate Hudson getting a latte. Dude makes heroin chic look thin.

Last time I saw them live was when they opened for the Stones. I’m sad Steve Gorman, the most sane member of the band, hasn’t been brought back, but hey.

Weezer's first album was good. Had they not become the embarrassing self-parody they've been for two decades, it would stand on its own pretty well.

Smashing Pumpkins started out as a Rush cover band..

Keanu Reeves hasn’t been mentioned yet. Breakout movie Bill & Ted was 2/1989 but 90s movies include Point Break, Bogus Journey, Speed, Johnny Mnemonic, and the Matrix.

Also a fact that blew my mind yesterday was that Weezer’s first show was in 1992, and that night they did the late-night closing set after headliner Dogstar. Dogstar of course is Keanu Reeves’ band.
