Thanks for the vote of confidence Buzz. Long time no see.
Core Shot, I hate it to, and if you've paid attention in other threads you've seen me call out other people for being "Karen's." That being said, part of my job is to lead, as well as manage public perception. By knowing day and store I would probably be able to narrow it down to about 14 people. A visit to the two possible stations to have coffee with the group and talk about it would suffice. No trying to narrow it down or be punitive. I think we all need to be reminded occasionally that when we are in uniform, we are the focus of peoples of attention and the public trust and respect is the most important thing we have.
westoxified, no worries, you saw something that concerned you and you spoke about it in a public forum. I'd much rather read it here than have someone else in the store call in and report it (had a citizen complaint last week that a firefighter got to close to them in the produce area). Again, I didn't have any punitive intent in mind, just a heads up reminder that people are watching.

LOL
you think that's getting real? They just canceled the TT races on the Isle of Man for "health and safety" reasons.....

Rainbow family not quitters. Yo.
Where's that pile? I actually collect the pallets in good condition if I see them when I'm cruising around in my truck. I use the wood for all sorts of outside projects, this spring it's going to be planter boxes for root veggies and potatoes (I only use kiln dried not treated) and trellises for indeterminate tomatoes, peas/string beans, melons and cucumbers.
Fred lives in Colorado. Bit of a drive for pallets.
Using KD lumber for planter boxes must require you to rebuild them yearly, right? I would imagine that stuff rots quickly in your climate when in contact with the ground.
it's amazing how long rotten wood holds together. that rotten assed timber dam in Warren was 200 years old...

^I miss the Warren Store - tasty sandwichs....
When I was in college the first time we could get massive piles of pallets for free. They made great bonfires for keg parties.
meh, one F1 team or another is all ways on the brink of financial collapse... don't you worry, there is never a shortage of billionaire morons willing to waste wads of cash on the worlds premier spec car series.
just in case you really don't get the irony of cancelling the TT race for "Health and Safety" reasons, I'll leave this here.
