Colors are changing in the High Country. I don't think I've every seen wildflowers in September while the fall colors were firing off. Awesome colors. Too bad I'm still on the low end of the learning curve to capture it properly. Anyway:

From last night photo courtesy of The Mt Washington Observatory. Northern light show. Pretty rare to see around these parts. Wish I was there to witness. Too good. Not to share.

^That first shot is rad! Did you light the wave with a flash or just with a headlamp or something?
It was 36 degrees when we started yesterday. I promptly pulled a muscle in my quad doing one foot wake crossings. This is my friend engulfed in the boats exhaust stream.

Tuckerman, the rings are due to your UV filter! I had the same issue on my first round of borealis photos, but luckily saw that tip in an article.
Zartagan, really cool under the bridge shot. Trying to get those symmetrical is hard (at least it is when I've tried it).
