The last photo was taken the day after we rescued him from the DDFL. He's happily gained enough weight now, and turns 4 next month.

Pound puppies rock! So happy for you and her! Its so rewarding to know you saved this beautiful creature! And yes - crazy amounts of sleep! Sometimes when I toss and turn at night I am so jealous that he slept all day while I was at work and can on a dime go right back to sleep. Enjoy!Quote:

It was a big weekend. I saw this dog on the Larimer Humane Society website and tried to convince myself not to go meet him. But then I was suddenly in the car, driving directly there :confused: Suffice it to say, I didn’t come back empty-handed. There’s a new leash in town!

He’s a 2-ish year old Australian Shepherd / Cattle Dog / maybe some Pointer, Mutt. He was found stray and was at the shelter for more than 2 weeks waiting for me to find him. He’s a good boy, and really mellow, including with the cats. Unfortunately for him, the cats still own the place...
