Of course you can revert to neutral without a clutch and without stalling. Your timing must be precise. but it's not that tricky. (Well, maybe not with a Buell, I don't know... A Buell has no business commuting in town anyway). But I can see it becoming rather tedious after a while :D

Hey now, the boots are on order.. and we were just ripping around a gravel pit. I fall DH biking all the time without pants. I dont know about you but when I crash DH biking I normally land on my arms or knees. Sometimes on my face.

I'm not offended, just amused. and I don't crash anyway.
But motorcycle and MTB are different. Ankles are badly exposed on a motorbike. Badly. Just like the hands BTW.
Loose the six six one mtb armour, and get hard shell that will fit into your boots when you get them. Not preaching, but crashing DH biking is way less impact than a dirt bike. Exposed flesh smells so good when the bike is lying pipe down on your leg.Quote:
