I did, unless my wife was the circulator, in which case she picked. I would have been happy to have someone else pick but nobody besides her ever tried. I was big on weird stuff--African music, Irish music, alt country. Lively stuff keeps cases moving along. "Calming" music is annoying.

For old school binding, you couldn't just cut that piece of paper in half because you had to stitch through the fold into the binding. For a modern glue binding, I assume this is not an issue and you just have the exact number of pages you need.

I didn't know book binding affected PDFs. I figure it was because some engineer that was editing a document couldn't figure out how to delete a blank page so typed "this page intentionally blank" because with no text it was fucking up the document. The next person to proof read it thought "Oh, ok" and left it.

I'd guess they had a file prepped for printing and someone said "hey, we need to throw that on our website" and they just exported a PDF. Obviously no reason for blank pages in a digital file otherwise.

I'm just assuming you have a manual or something like that where a designer was involved. The printing thing doesn't apply if you're looking at Uncle Bob's manifesto

How long is this longshoremen strike gonna last? I've got a container that was supposed to hit Jersey on Thursday and another one next week.

People around here heard the news and are rushing the supermarket like it’s 2020. Is TP and pasta going to be unobtanium again?

Any lawyer dentists in the house?

I had a back molar crowned 7 months ago. I specifically asked for gold since it’s not visible, and by some sources cited as the longest lasting material. Also, bling.

I was miserable when they did the work, never looked at the work they did because it sucked and took months for the sensitivity to lessen to where it doesn’t bug me. Only to finally take a close look at it yesterday to see a bright white porcelain crown.

Unsure what to do. Let it slide? Call Saul?

Well did they charge you extra for gold? If not, and if it's not visible, spend your time looking for another dentist instead of worrying about what's already done. Seems like gold would conduct heat and cold more efficiently, and thus be more sensitive, anyways. Possibly.

Gold molars may be covered by porcelain. Porcelain alone is not strong enough for a molar. So google sez.

Is Beers really plural of Beer?

Clearly you are not very redneck

It depends on the form in which the beer is transported. If the beer is in a keg or kegs, "beer" is appropriate. If cans or bottles, either is appropriate, although "beers" makes it clear that the beer is not in a keg or kegs and so might be preferred as less ambiguous. If in doubt, bring drugs instead.

He wrote back saying that he disagreed…and then refunded her the money. My assumption is that no attorney in the world is going to refund money unless they know they fucked up.
