Providers are a dime a dozen... surf top 10 CC Processors.

Shop charge rates+fees for each card type of course and deposit turnover times for each card type If that's something you would like to factor.

Purchase/rent/free? necessary on-site hardware or No Hardware needed processing?

There are providers that will automatically charge back your card user (customer/client) the vigorish that they charge you for the transaction.

Whatever bank you use should have an in-house application for CC Processing and may be competitively priced.

Yeah I hear you, that's why I accepted the terms without reading. I'm sure many of the complaints are from nut jobs. But being hung up on twice in the span of an hour is worrisome while my account is frozen and funds hostage.

I'm not sure about metric shit ton vs fuck ton; I was thinking the metric unit was bigger, but a normal metric ton is just about 10% more than an imperial ton, while I'd assume a fuck ton to be more than 10% bigger than a shit ton.

So probably
metric shit ton < fuck ton < metric fuck ton

I usually use the metric fuck ton.

I would not be surprised depending on the business and the type and amount of the transaction. I see nothing wrong with proving who you are.

But that being said many of the credit card processing companies are a bit like used car sales persons or snake oil sales persons. Either they have high monthly statement fees, are very limiting in the transaction types (online vs in person with card present type of stuff) or really do not like certain types of businesses at all.

Many that are businesses with regular credit card processing mention they love Costco for their processing provider. Some do not even have a Costco close to use the membership for sopping, but have a membership just to be able to use their processing. Whatever you do make sure you know things like is there a minimum fee, what is the percentages- for all cards or just the Visa/Mastercard and then maybe a higher percentage for AMEX or some of the others like Discover or do not even take them at all. Also ask about average dollar volume of each sale rules (some businesses will only do credit for say $5 or more sale as an example. Get the information in writing and ask questions on the charge back process and appealing a buyer that is claiming charge backs on legitimate deals.

It may not be logical, but IMO when you put metric in front of the word it makes it much bigger, like 100 to 1000 bigger. So a metric shit ton is more than a fuck ton.

Shit ton refers to an amount of work or alcohol/drugs, fuck ton refers to physical items in an unbelievable quantity - also could be beer/alcohol. Shits and fucks - not the same thing.

Disagree. Metric is bigger but only like 10% or something. You gotta say it, because you don't want anyone assuming you mean a short shit ton. But it's only a little bigger. The step up to fuck ton is bigger. Of course the metric fuck ton can only be exceeded by the metric fuck tonne, which is only a little bigger again, but since it's the biggest you gotta use it sometimes.

Shit. Just when I think I have selected the biggest size I can find in order to tackle the job, somebody comes up with a bigger one. Now I have to trade my metric fuck ton in for a metric fuck tonne.

If something is built like a brick shit house, is it assumed it's a shit ton of work or?

It was fuck ton of work to build, but doesn't require a shit ton of maintenance.
