Long time follower but a new member here. Any notable on snow differences between the 17/18 and 18/19 BGs? Sold my 17/18s earlier this season when I thought I was done with a leg injury. Just got cleared by the doc and new skis coming in tomorrow.

looks like a french cleat that somehow connects to the binding. pretty cool
6 of these little buttons on a board with two slots...that way I can stagger them to clear brakes. You can loosen them with an Allen wrench and slide them to where you need.

You can buy the whole rack but after seeing it online I had an old board from an old ski display that worked perfectly so I am only into this about $45.
These will attach to anything so get creative. Old skis, fence post, stripper’s booty, etc.
The skis hang perfectly from one of the toe pieces and then the other ski hangs by locking brakes together.

Also...sitting in Basalt waiting for the pain train to happen.

I tried search function in this thread, but no luck, but I know there was some discussion about core shot repairs. I finally got one on my kartels after sending a 10 foot drop directly onto a shark.
If I'm remembering correctly, Scott offered up some spare/scrap base material for the repair. If that offer still stands, I'd love to get some so I can make my bases good as new. I'll be happy to pay for the trouble, whatcha say, iggy?
Can anyone compare the new C&D to the new Spur? They seem pretty similar on paper.
Anyone holding a Steeple 108? Looking to buy :)

Actually drove to Steamboat from basalt at 4:00am...ummm 25” so far at the base, 36” up top in spots.
New CD is very different but great. I’ll share more as I ski more, but major pluses over the old rocker in some ways, and a few cons compared to the old rocker in ultra, ultra deep.

Finally got to ski my C&D's in proper conditions with 20 inches of blower over night.
The short version is that these are absolutely fantastic in pow. So smearable and manoeuvrable, tight trees is no problem at all. Super stable when you want them to. Flotation is great. They blow through soft chop with ease. These ski pretty much as I hoped and expected them to, very reminiscent of a fatter BG.
Going to Hokkaido in 3 weeks and I'm so glad I bought these. I'm certain they'll be a blast over there.
Cat skiing in 40” of Buffalo Pass goodness with Steamboat Powdercats = 6” of blower on top of 30” of heavy velvet pow on top of 6” blower.

These skis are so damn smeary and stomp anything. They slash better than the old CD did due to the BG rocker, and also easier to land drops due to the platform. Pivot when needed but just pedal to the metal in wide open.
Got some POV footage I’ll work on, but let’s just say yesterday was seriously legit all time with the perfect ski for one of the top 3 deepest snow days of my life.

The other 11 people on the cat could barely move and I was popping and floating off everything in site. Not supposed to have this kind of a platform in snow like this...but holy shizzzz.

Yessir! They were perfect in tight trees and the higher elevation deep, deep stuff.
I switched to Wren 114 after lunch due to the bumps and continued to have an amazing day.

Powtron: can you compare to BG? Little concerned about the softer tour flex. Obviously, I need to ski a pair but until then...
