Meanwhile, Rudy will likely get his 4th DPOY and Donovan Mitchell is still one of the best scorers in the league. Utah isnt a market like Boston and I question if ainge has Presti magic

Many of us called it at the time, but man I didn’t expect to be *this* right about it being dumb to fire your coach and bring in Doc Rivers. Bucks look horrible.

Dubs killed the Lakers last night and now have a chance from going from the 10 spot to the 8. I think it’s pretty clear the play-in has been a huge success for end of the season excitement.

I’m cautiously optimistic about the Warriors. Horrible start to the season but they had the 4th best record in the league after Feb 1. Still, with those loser goes home play-in games anything can happen.
I read an article today in which the author suggested that the Lakers should tank their play-in game against the Pelicans in order to avoid having to come to Denver for the first round since Denver has beaten them 8 times in a row
that's nuts, no way do you intentionally lose just so you can have the opportunity to get immediately bounced before the playoffs even start. Losing against the Nugs in a playoff series is better than losing to the Warriors in the second play-in game.Quote:

Dubs fans will be watching the rebuild moving forward for the next 3-5 years.

I still like TJD and Podz too - last season was a very solid draft. But yeah, it’s time to blow it up. They looked old and tired out there. Steph was on an island out there much of the game and I thought Kerr did a pretty shitty job with his rotations.

The amazingly dumb part - from what I understand - is the placement of bets specific to his play. He’s not a big name player so of course that’s going to pop as a flag in the book.
At the game tonight, Embiid still looked injured, very slow and mopey through the first 3 quarters. Not sure how it looked on TV but really apparent during beaks in the action. But stepped up at the end with a few big plays when needed .
