The weed water and bacon all makes sense.
What’s with the Mayo and mustard?

Well looked big in picture, but guess it could be a pine marten
Between weather performance to date and the damn pandemic, you're probably right about this being a good season to be focused on getting healthy.
Best of luck healing up quick. Surgery sucks even when you know it's going to be a good thing in the long run.
I thought it was ugly earlier, but it just went from icky to "I should check on the sump pumps" weather. At least the snowmaking reservoirs should be recharged when they get temps again.
Definitely not a fisher...
I live right next to the garden, always down for a hike and a joint with a side of Mayo. I doubt they are enforcing the parking fees this time of year, but all you guys always have a free parking spot when in my hood

Looks like a fisher that spent the summer sunning on the rocks and its hair is bleached and/or old.
Thought that food display was menu items Singlecross, hope you recover strong!, should avoid in the future.
Thanks to all for the positive vibes. Definitely will need another surgery in a few months to put it all back together proper.
+1 on fresh ginger tea... I’ve been on that program for a few years already with a dash of maple syrup. Mmmmm.
Glad to have crossed the border back into Maine and be home by the woodstove to hunker down for a while... “Sorry folks, Parks closed... moose out front shoulda told ya!”
Whatever it is, it's pretty darned cool. Did he run away when he saw you?
We have got some real heavy rain in MA, hopefully this is the last of it and gets cold from here on out. Looks like all of the northeast is getting soaked.
That view from Big Slide is great. Did you hike it across or back to rte 73?
Old man fisher. I’d guess the same. Cool experience.
I'm in the Marten camp.
Hard to say for sure without size perspective but Fishers tend to be 2X the size and 4X the weight of the Marten with much darker fur and smaller ears.
We had a Fisher in the woods behind our house in Essex Junction (don't live there any more) and I saw it numerous times very early in the morning while running or walking the dogs. Mean, nasty creatures and their call is eerie.
54º w/light breeze bob on this first day of meteorological winter:mad:
Got last licks on the wrod at Hunter. Last night it rained a lot. We need a cold snap. Attachment 350648

i’m thinking it was a Pine Martin. It was about house cat sized, and I figure the fishers are about twice the size of the average house cat.
fucker had no fear of me at all though. Came right up and circled around me twice just a few feet away, then took a piss and wandered off.
it was a rather odd encounter.
That picture definitely looks like a pine marten and seen much more often. I mistook the size of the original. We can now go back to watching the flood
Attachment 350698nice scott.
seems like just 7 months ago we skiied that very stretch.
edit : cold snap is indeed coming. watching for a good day next mid-week when tix go on sale to non-passholders.
I think that is an American Martin but something is wrong with it. No fear and out during the day, since they are normally nocturnal. Maybe people have been feeding it? It is a mammal so could have rabies? Not sure.
I saw a juvenile fisher recently on the trail and it was so cute.
We need some tunes in the wake of the flood.

^Always loved that as a set 1 closer.
No bullshit, but that looks like an accident waiting to happen. I see ragdolls down grass and dirt.
I got fucking spoiled.

Let the 2-week quarantine begin for Sugarbush. It better Nuke!
Let’s hope for some dumps; the bush was looking rough as of yesterday
