Looked like a good show!
I am headed to big sky in the morning. Might have to spin 1/17!
Bobby absolutely slayed standing on the moon tonight. wow
Mayer definitely was the conductor tonight, his move right next to chimenti is fueling an already tremendous dynamic
I haven't got a chance to listen to them all the way through yet, but the Morning Dew was excellent.
I have Soundboards coming in. PM me.
I also have the entire Bob and Wolf Bros Tour.
Interesting?

Dogfish Head:
Join Dogfish Head, Craft Beer Guild Distributing of NY, and Bear's Choice for an evening of beer, music, and friends. Owner and CEO Sam Calagione will be in attendance to raise a pint to celebrate the occasion!
American Beauty, a pale ale inspired by the Grateful Dead, captures the spirit of the band's 30 years of touring and recording. Dogfish Head and the Dead both built their followings by connecting directly with beer lovers and music lovers - this beer is brewed with granola and wildflower honey as well as all-American hops.
Bear's Choice:
Bear's Choice is a Grateful Dead tribute band based out of the New York City area. The band consists of Dan Martin (Drums), Ed Martin (Piano, Vocals), Brian Wood (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Drew Contessa (Bass Guitar, Vocals), and John Leslie (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals). Bear's Choice is known for their strong lead and harmony vocals and high-energy adventurous jamming.
Just saw this in my Twitter feed, couldn't be...could it?
SportsLine subscriber Bobby Weir won our first members-only contest, taking home a $4,000 prize! Will you be next?
Just got offered tickets for any Dead and Co show on the 2019 tour. Where should I go?
The Gorge in June would be my choice.
2nd the Gorge
I got gorge tickets camping fri-sun going to both shows. I got “front row” (small ga pit) to sat
Super stoked!
Gorge sounds cool. So does Wrigley, or Folsom Field in Boulder. Going with my dad who is in his mid-70s.
We’re out of town too. Definitely close enough to ride bikes. Free tickets come from the band’s agent who stays at our house with his family when they’re in town.
You can rent my house. :D
Anyone seeing the Wolf Bros?
got a ticket for tomorrow and on the fence about a Bobby project without another guitar or keys.
I saw them in Denver back in Oct and was surprised on how good they sounded. Been listening to some of this tour...only bits and pieces tho. Really good.
I think this trio showcases what Weir is about these days. With only him on guitar, it forces him to play in a more melodic way. Fresh take on music we dig. Plus, they are digging into the Ratdog stuff, (this might go either way depending on your opinion but I am a fan).
I’d definitely go if they were close to me.

I have soundboards from the whole last tour if you want a copy PM me.
I should warm you tho....it’s not super up tempo. The show I saw everyone was on their feet and groovin for the whole show.
Truth - I wouldn’t mind listening to some of this tour. Need to make some space first.

^^expecting dirge like tempo at times, I've listened to some shows. Psyched to see Jay Lane, been awhile
Edit: great show, a Bobby power trio. Don and Jay laid it down.
First set of tour looks good on paper!

Snooze fest, just doesn’t work for me anymore.
I much prefer DSO at this point
Dead & Slo.
DSO, JRAD, TFB are all way better.
I read an interview that Bobby did recently and he was talking about how he heard that people were complaining about the slower tempo of the music now. Basically he said that he needs it slower to be able to take in all of the nuances and to guide things better. Sounds like the old boy's brain has been affected by outside influences for too many years  Yup DSO is putting on a better show now but D&Co is still a good show but until they get ticket prices back down to the $20-30 that DSO runs I probably won't be seeing them.
If you get a chance to see The Englishtown Project do it! Tommy was Jeff Matson's sidekick in the Volunteers and Zen Tricksters for many years and the band he's put together kicks ass.
Boarding a plane for Seattle Thursday, dropping in on the Gorge shows. The college buddy reunion is on, between the friends and the venue I think good times will be had tempo be damned.
Also for you NE heads I'm hoping to make this show on June 15th, looks like it has real potential

I’m not keen on the big stadiums too. Happen to be going to Wrigley cuz I’ll be in Chicago anyway! Still into the sheds tho.
Second Shoreline was real good for DeadCo. From the bits and pieces of Hollywood B 1 that I heard, it seemed ok.

^^^ Move from Fenway to Gillette was a huge disappointment 'round here.. At least for me.
Fenway has its appeal, but for local MA venues I'd take the Orpheum or Greatwoods / whatevercorporarionitscallednow over a "stadium" show any day.
Stadiums for this music just ain’t got it anymore. It was cool when the Dead were playing those venues. you had a choice to try to get close and be squished and happy or be in the back or up high, have your space. I chose plenty of both! Now, it’s a sea of people bobbing heads to kinda slow tempo, (which I’m alright with when I’m there). The difference is now when I see DeadCo in a big venue I don’t feel the music/energy. Sheds...I still get it.
Anyway, I couldn’t pass up Wrigley. Never seen a show at a ballpark. Will report the experience.
Well shit. Have 2 good seats for Deer Cr and can’t go. Anyone want em? Wouldn’t mind getting close to face. PM if interested
Just got my tix for Citi Field! I'm finally going to get a chance to take my kids to see a show, I'm stoked for them. Section 508, all the way up top
Re: Tempo - Bobby needs it slow, he's old :)
