GA is typically the upper third, rest is reserved. Amazing venue !
Foo Fighters crushed BottleRock last night. FKNA - opened with All My Life and blew the lid off

Midnight Oil last night was sweet. They are a favorite of the wife. Peter Garrett is a trip.

I was talked into going to a Def Leppard show with Tesla and Poison opening. The show was on Cinco de Mayo, aka Cinco de Metal. Requisite pregame Mexamerican food, complete with margaritas and tequila shots resulted in us missing Tesla. I was okay with that. Poison was about as I expected. Def Leppard was not. Holy shit they rocked it. I was a fan as a kid, but haven't listened to them in years, so I was surprised at how many songs I knew. The weirdest thing was how few people were standing. How the fuck do you go to a rock show and just sit there? Unless tix were free, I doubt I'd go again, but (lots of) booze and friends made for a really good time.

Sleep last night was soooo good.
Saw Streets Dogs and Face to Face at Punk Rock Bowling last night in Denver. Solid show, Street Dogs are always great. Face to Face was fun but loud to the point of barely being able to tell what was playing.
Foo Fighters!!!!! Always a great time.
Hey shred, was looking at tickets for Roger Waters but they were stooooopid expensive.... Mind me asking how your seats were and how much?
Most I've ever paid for a concert, our seats were great. $226..... But probably my only show this year so whatever.
Caught Dispatch last night for one of their 'warm up' shows for the upcoming tour. They're missing one of the core 3, so working some stuff out before they hit the road. Free show, but had to win tics.

John Prine put on a hell of a show at Red Rocks last night.
Hit up Dave Mathews and Tim Reynolds at a new amphitheater in Jacksonville, right next to where the Jags play. Great venue, 5,000 max seating. Sound was a bit off for an acoustic show, especially with DM mumbling like he does. My buddy was sitting at the sound board, so I went over and hung there for a bit. Sound was way better. This was only the 3rd show there, so I guess it was to be expected that they were working out the kinks.
Going to U2 in 2 weeks. Got the stupid seats for that show.
That will be awesome! I still have never seen a show at Red Rocks. It's on the list.
At least you can buy tickets. We were kind of bummed that we couldn't, but my wife was super lucky to win a pair.
They played a lot of the new tunes and threw in a few of the old ones.
"Willie got me stoned and took all my money
I was 50 dollars up and then my mind went funny
It didn't really help that I didn't know the rules of the game
And it probably didn't help that I couldn't remember my name" -Jack Johnson
Pretty funny tune last night. But what a shitshow trying to get in. Waited two fucking hours in will call line and missed half the show. To Jack's credit, the show ended and he came back out as he had heard the news, and played at least 6 or 7 more tunes, including the Willie Nelson one. [emoji106]
In hindsight it's partially my fault. I should have known when buying the tics...as there was no option to print tickets..that will call would be a junkshow. Only other selection was around a $12 or $14 dollar mailing for a $0.49 stamp! Next time (well, never going back to xfinity center again) I'd pay the bs fee.
BFD 2017 Music Artist Qrion. Recommended.

I'm super stoked for Beck at Redrocks in a few weeks!
Just grabbed a couple tix for Petty and Heartbreakers 40 yr tour at flushing meadow - psyched - petty is the fuckin MAN!
^^
I heard he was great at Wriggly.
I went to RHCP and the sound was off. Don't really like big venues.

First time seeing My Morning Jacket last night, won't be my last. They killed it
Sloss Fest anyone?
Hadn't seen Iron Maiden since they played outdoors at Ozzfest more than 10 years ago, so went down to see their arena show in Oakland last week. I like the new CD Book Of Souls, a pretty strong effort IMO. They played lots of the new stuff and a bunch of classics too. Good fun!
Petty and heartbreakers at forest hills. 40 yr tour and they really brought their A game. Crowd gave him a 2 minute standing O after first song, and he payed that back in full.
Mike Campbell is sorely under rated as a rock guitarist.
Biggest surprise of the night was Peter Wolf warming them up - that dude is 72 and does a jagger /Tyler groove better than both.
Fantastic 3.5 hrs
