if you really want to save some coin, figure out how to attach a commercial co2 tank to one of those. a giant tank costs like 15 bucks to refill.

Went to Caputo's a few days ago (high end fine food retailer in SLC) to grab some stuff for a raclette party.
Got a bunch of cold cuts which a dude had to slice to desired thickness. A few cheeses as well. Total cost was as eye-poppingly painful as it always is at Caputo's. Couldn't even find the 0% option on the payment iPad.
This shit drives me crazy. Same when I go pick up a bag of beans at the coffee place, the entirety of the service is someone ringing me up, and I can't figure out how not to throw another $2 on the pile.

My friend was telling me about a restaurant in Berkeley that has a big sign that says "We Pay a Living Wage" (by law but they don't mention that( AND charge a mandatory 18% for service. I guess that's where the living wage comes from.
