if you really want to save some coin, figure out how to attach a commercial co2 tank to one of those. a giant tank costs like 15 bucks to refill.

wish i had the space.
Ha! Yep.
Isn’t that the truth? I’ll get a few canisters for the soda stream and then when I run out it takes me like a month to get new ones for a variety of reasons, so the canned stuff fills the gaps.
If I ever redo the kitchen sparking water tap is top of my list.
Maybe time to bring this one back around...

I just got an emissions test done on my truck, and they asked how much I’d like to tip. I guess you have to respect the hustle.
Went to Caputo's a few days ago (high end fine food retailer in SLC) to grab some stuff for a raclette party.
Got a bunch of cold cuts which a dude had to slice to desired thickness. A few cheeses as well. Total cost was as eye-poppingly painful as it always is at Caputo's. Couldn't even find the 0% option on the payment iPad.
This shit drives me crazy. Same when I go pick up a bag of beans at the coffee place, the entirety of the service is someone ringing me up, and I can't figure out how not to throw another $2 on the pile.
there's always a "custom tip" option, isn't there? and you put in "0" as your custom tip.
That would work. Haven't seen cash in years though. I'm more annoyed at the idea of tipping for the kind of "service" I received. Slicing the meat, maybe, that's some actual work. But ringing in a bag of coffee is a bit over the top.
It was actually nowhere to be found on one of the iPads which really surprised me...
Got hit with that at Subway the other day. At least the guys at doing some custom work there but tipping still feels weird and wrong at fast food joint pushing extremely overpriced subs
Just ask how do I tip zero?
How do you tip zero?

My friend was telling me about a restaurant in Berkeley that has a big sign that says "We Pay a Living Wage" (by law but they don't mention that( AND charge a mandatory 18% for service. I guess that's where the living wage comes from.
Huge sign in one of my favorite BBQ joints---Cash Tips Greatly Appreciated. FU assholes, you take what I give you--how about a CC and 25%.
