I wish it came with an attachment to plug into a wall instead of my computer. I also can't figure out why these things are so fucking expensive. Honestly, $400 for the new SGXw, not to mention the $129 sign up fee? These things are bulky, only perform one task, and don't have a touch screen. An iPhone is $300 too, but can do the same thing as these, and also make phone calls, text, face time, have a calendar, you can play games on them, and so much more. These should be $100 max. So glad I didn't fork out my own money for one.
Yeeeeah, I thought about that, and I would understand if I was showing up with different people all the time, but isn't it different if I'm "teaching my cousin how to play golf?" Something like that? I understand the need to limit teaching when you have teaching professionals around, but if you are someone's coach, where do you go to help them? I'll be hitting balls next to them mostly too, so it will be more about just helping and not really formal lessons. Check with them first?
I have a car charger for mine - it's no big deal. And I completely understand the pricing - there was a lot of capital investment to start that company in the first place. Think about the logistics of all those courses all over the world. Plus constant GPS connections, etc. If you think that's a rip-off, consider smart phones.
I've used GPS and Laser. Laser all the way for me. It's much easier to get carry and hazard distance plus exact flag location. GPS gives you a general flag location and golf cart GPS has to have the flags positions preset. Laser battery lasts for months too.
One of the things the sky caddie touts is the driving range yardages. I've found this to be useless. Sorry for all the hate on these things, but I bought a range punch card at Coal Creek because it said the sky caddie has yardages for their range. I get there and there are only 3 yardages available on the sky caddie, the furthest distance of which was 150 yards. There are about 7 targets on the range, and none of them made any sense. What's up with that?

Nice, dude. What the fuck is that course, a bunch of copied holes or just damn close?
I've often wondered why there isn't a course where all the most famous holes in golf are built together but it would probably be a logistical nightmare, not to mention the cost.
Point totals as of today 6-1-12:
SkiBalls - 5
MotherFucker - 15
Fritz - 10
BigDady - 7 1/2
Sounds fun. It would be so hard for me not to get a shot of every hole but I'm a photo whore.
Any other notable holes?
nice to watch online.

raining pretty hard.
Royal Links In Vegas is all inspired by holes from courses on the rota for the Open Championship, including the Road Hole, and Postage Stamp. Dye-designed, fun course, overpriced as hell...
Played a few rounds in AZ this week. Arizona Country Club, The Rim Golf Club, and Eagle Mountain. I need a freakin' camera. Here's a mix of good pics and pics from my cell.
