Had to run to summit today for a bit and on the way back, the traffic was backed up almost a half mile to get off at the first Frisco/Breck exit. [emoji15]. . It’s officially a zoo in town over here now too.
There’s your mistake

The big question is when are you going back? Traffic going up Sunday shouldn’t be too bad, especially late morning. Just realize that little 2wd rental shit boxes in snow storms are a big piece of why this thread exists. Hitch a ride on a shuttle van, you can kick back, relax and not be “that guy”
Monday sounds like it’ll be good if you don’t mind crowds though.

Love this thread - you aren't IN traffic, you ARE the traffic.
But, you know I moved here in '97 and that makes me a local. Get off my roads. Stop doing what I like to do.
Common thread amongst everyone who drives I-70? Me first.
Hang on while we wait for the smart TGR dads with winter tires and a $55,000 TRD pro with 4-wheel drive to chime with the BUTTHURT. You're still the problem. Our 70 woes are 99.999999% about high volume.
Why didn't I think of that? Can't wait to add on a 10-15mi roundtrip road ride to an already big ride. Or hail an uber to go backpacking. Wonder if theres an uber surcharge for shitty forest roads?
What the fuck was up with Saturday morning? That was some of the worst traffic from Denver I have seen in a while.
Extra lane, or is skiing less hip?

sure seems like some noisy data...
So they're saying the average delay is only 12 minutes heading east on Sunday during peak hours. I think someone needs to work on their data collection technique.
