Their artwork is good, for sure, but for some reason that I can't put my finger on anymore, I've been disappointed by them a few times. I've never been to their taproom or had any of their beers south of Seattle, so maybe it was a distance/warm storage issue?
They've got pretty limited distribution up here, but I'll see if I can't find a bottle to change my mind.
Ah, that makes sense. I probably knew that but was thrown off by the actual company name listed. They used to have a restaurant/brewpub in SD but it closed a couple years ago. Never went in there.
A friend used to bring a case of that on road trips. Here guys have a beer! Yeah it was pretty tasteless.
As to the budget IPA topic, I often see 15 packs (18?) of Founders All Day IPA. It's decent enough that I buy it once in a while. My local shop also sells 19oz cans of it 2 for $4.
I think there was a reason we were supposed to boycott Founder's a while back. When UT first upped the grocery store alcohol % a few years ago the 15 packs first showed up and were my go to for a bit.
I also cannot confirm or deny that I have a dog named Oskar Blue. Haven't drank too much Dale's in a while though. Maybe I should change that.

Put a couple of ceiling fans up to replace the old squeaky ones. Chillin now with a New Belgium DIPA. At 9% and no lunch, I like it.
This one was WAAAAY past its essential drinkability date (it was canned 08/03/20, then it sat in a co-worker's locker for a month before he gave it to me, which was just last week), yet despite having a slight window cleaner aftertaste, I could tell it probably woulda been great had I drank it back in in August 2020...
So, posting this because I am certain it would have been hella tasty upon its initial release:

This really knocked my socks off. If the cans my LLS had were fresher, I would buy a case. Still exceptional with a 02/15/2021 date stamp, though.

Eat a peach? No thanks, Gregg, I'll drink one instead.

^ I was in Kulshan recently just to pick up a six pack. Basically you're gonna be drinking something that collabs with Transition/WMBC or Mt. Baker Ski Area. Pretty awesome.
Great Notion has some serious juice-like IPAs. Wouldn't say I would drink them all the time but dang they go down easy on a warm evening.
they are definitely tough to blanket but ya, i’m usually one and done or things go sideways for my stomach or head. mouthfeel is generally on point, tough to stay away
been drinking a lot from revision in nv and yaya from ewa lately

Nothing labeled a "west coast IPA" should be that translucent. If I can't see through my beer, it better be a stout or porter.
That's your standard pineapple juice and cum smoothie, right there.
