That's a funny article. Who cares why they did it (Im sure we know why) but that they did it. The great cock in the sky.
The outline is good, but the writing inside is impressive.
Watching Sixteen Candles….and knowing that you taught Jake’s kids in elementary school…..both son and daughter were/are great kids…..now adults.

True.
There was a test for mild cognitive deficit in the paper this morning so I took it. You're supposed to print it, do it in pen, and take it too your doc to score. There is no key for patients or for doctors. The doctor is supposed to decide if the answers are right. So what if your doctor has MCD? I'm a doctor so I graded my own. I got 100%.
^ That amused me.
I'd be happy to grade cognitive tests for you guys for a small fee. Less than your doc would charge but I don't take insurance. And for a little extra I will raise your scores.
OUTSTANDING!!!
A kid on the chair yesterday looked at my snowboard and said "hey, that's a cool looking snowboard."
Me: "this? Thanks! It's probably older than you, it's an 02."
Kid: "bro, that's definitely older than me, I'm an 09!"
Here you go: the venerable Original Sin / O Sin 3800 @ 169 cm. This is the first time I've ridden it since the pandemic, and I remembered it was a good board for in between conditions, but I was kind of blown away to rediscover how well it works. Even with the bindings all the way back for pow, it can still hold a carve on the groom. It was a great board for Bachelor on Sunday with a mix of pow, chopped up mank and soft groomers.
I have a couple of the sister board to this one, the 4807 swallowtail, but you really need a deep day for those or there's not much point.

My hard boot brother! Nice stick. I blew up my hovercraft last season so haven't boarded this year and now recovering from knee debridement. buuut, next year! I'd like to pm you for some new board advice. Not many older alpine hard booters up here to bounce ideas off.
Hell yeah! I've been flying in stealth mode - thought I was the only one on TGR. Happy to chat on PM, though I have to confess I haven't really been keeping up to date on freeride gear. If my life changed so that I got to ride a bunch more gladed pow, I'd want a Donek Nomad or maybe an Aloha. Anyway, hit me up, happy to spitball with you.
Sorry to hear about your knee! On the bright side of being in the market for something new, it's been a pretty crappy snow year, and there should be some killer sales in the spring and next fall. The snow situation is improving, at least in the PNW, but probably too late to save the season for retailers.
Listening to here and now on NPR this morning--they were interviewing some reporter at a SF voting center. He was complaining no one was coming in to vote. A volunteer did say a couple people had come in to cast provisional ballots but no other voters. The show's host was appalled and commiserated with him, closing the piece by begging people to get to the voting center to vote. WE ALL GET MAIL IN BALLOTS YOU DUMBFUCK! At least in SF people are smart enough to fill them out and mail them in. The only reason anyone goes to a voting center is to cast a provisional ballot because they didn't get one in the mail. You're NPR--surely you can do better.
Guy who’s hoping for another global pandemic for the low gas prices it brings with it…
