You INSERT Video, not insert a web link to another site. The first puts the video on the post and you can play it on this site usually without being sent off to some other web page. The web link you have to open in another tab usually or second browser session depending on the browser and device you are using. On Desktop browser at least there are 6 icons to the right of the smiley emoji that have the various options- web link, Email, Unlink, Insert Image, Insert Video, or wrap [quotes] tags... Probably a bit different if on a cell phone and mobile browser...
