Braddock for example. Can grab a little fixer upper for like $14k. Fetterman was mayor here prior to his lieutenant gov role.

I think I’ll take vaporization before I spend my days in this creepy lair

That’s got brothel written all over it
That is so Vegas.
Too bad Howard Hughes and Elvis aren’t there to enjoy it.
But.
Isn’t the point of a doomsday bunker not to tell anyone?

The stripper pole and mirrored disco ball really add a touch of whimsy to the yard.
Shit, you saw plenty of shag carpet during high school and college.

For the middle class buyer in La Jolla I present....the FLOWER HOUSE:

Usually I can follow the layout of a house fairly well through the photos… No chance with this one.
That’d be a nice place on a fall evening
Nice find, I really like that one. It is kind of hard to figure out what's going on in some spots though, like:

Super rad. Probably a maintenance nightmare, but totally rad nonetheless.
a question as old as time: "WhereTF is the front door?"

i do like the edge grain flooring on the deck that bends with the shape of the wall & deck

someone really had fun with this one - i can only admire the effort both in design & construction
That deck simultaneously is rad and makes my brain hurt thinking about the install, how high you figure they were once layout was dialed and just cobbling together a board every inch?
FLW - leaky flat roofs with substandard engineering, original windows and doors that leak air like sieves. And if you want to fix anything you'll have millions of people all up in your shit.
Gorgeous house but it takes a special kind of person to put up with owning one.
Not to mention the fucking dwarf designed all his houses for someone his height.
There's a substantial issue the pictures aren't showing. I'm thinking the roof and that would be a major nightmare to address.
Let's leave your mom out of this
All I know is that Wisconsin has the highest rate of binge drinking in the country and that house is fucking awesome.

I lived in WI for a while as a kid, and almost half of my extended fam is still there, so can confirm.
People are really nice, though. Probably all the drinking, and weird snack foods, but they're really nice.
What’s amazing is that it’s only 150k more than my 1600sqft house in Cottonwood Heights, UT. That needs a pretty serious remodel inside.
Can anyone comment on why it appears there is so much inventory in the SLC area? Someone mentioned people are moving out due to the water issues (as in lack of future supply). I don't believe it but....
Looks like some really good values.
Perhaps the prices are still close enough to reality compared to wages for people to want to move up? I mean where are they all looking to move to that supports their cult?
I wouldn’t say they’re close to reality. My house over doubled in value in 5 years. Maybe that just says that prices were super cheap a decade ago. And they were. But they certainly aren’t reasonable now. Maybe compared to California
Cool house with a bunch of grumpy old critics.
