Trying to get to involved, and possibly buy your old junk so I can convert my degen brother from a snowboard to skis.

New Maestrale XT and wondering if anyone has had an issue with their lateral malleolus on the outside of their ankle, the bottom of the fibula???? The way the new XT's replace the RS's middle strap with the two top buckles is placing a lot of contact pain on that spot for me.

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts? I have already heat molded the liners and I am using clamps on that spot to gain a bit more room.
