Solid comments guys thanks. So I go to BevMo cuz the site says they have 4 bottles. Nope. What the fuck, my third bait and switch in 30 days or less. Is this the new ecommerce model, just get them in the store? :fuckyou:

Caol Ila 12 has been my go-to for Islay whiskies. I like the smoke with the mild burnt caramel. Scapa is equally a favorite and is from the Orkney Islands and to me it tastes like burnt butter oatmeal combined with that smell of the mist you get from waves crashing on rocks. I don't have the best palate and my taste doesn't always align with the expert's reviews/opinions and I don't give a shit, it's my take. My little glass I drink it from is about 3.5" tall, 1.5" diameter with thick base that is about .5" thick. If I rest it on my upper abdominal bench whilst on the couch it sends little aromatic waves of goodness that prep my palate...love it!
O shit if you ever have the 18 you will be in paradise. Not many people know that one but it is excellent scotch
Not a big scotch guy, but just had some 18 yr Shieldaig Speyside. Pretty good.
Merry Christmas punks.

Had a glass of 12 year Dalmore sherry cask aged while at a hotel bar in London. It was quite a nice surprise. Easy drinking scotch that has more of a bourbon vibe to it.

I was gifted a bottle of Longrow Red pinot noir cask matured 7yr single malt scotch for watching a family member's three dogs. May try it for New Years. I have not tried Longrow before so I'm curious on how it will taste. I do is that it is 57.1% abv.
I am now convinced Irish is better. 12 yr Cask Strength Redbreast. DOUBLE FKNA!!!!

You got a treat, Long row is a harder to find Campbeltown.
I have only ever seen it in the whisky shoppe there at the end of the Long and Winding road.
irul, Redbreast is bad ass and enjoy it but its a different animal than Single Malt Scotch.
Go back to the Irish thread and keep telling us yellow spot is better than Redbreast...
I found a bottle here, of all places. It’s tasty.

^^^ I always imagined Lewis and Clark Vodka would be taking up all the space in that joint. Good find!
