My 120 brakes are fine... I will post an after mount photo for perspective.

Cool. Yeah, would be ordering in the next few days. I'd like to as little edge overhang as possible because there's a possibility I'd have the skis on steep hard stuff even at that width. (Not ideal, but sometimes unavoidable.)
J, I know the 120s will fit. I'm just wondering if the 110s will without any real bending. Dremeling plastic is less problematic.
Thread drift but curious what length are your steeples and do you know the weight with or without the tectons ? Amazed at how capable my 102’s are and really damp inspite of having dynafit speed turns on them . Thinking 116 steeple rather than billy goat because they’re so damp. Tecton makes sense
Upon closer examination... get the 110 brakes. They will be fine for sure. The overhang isn’t a big deal, I was turning them over pretty well on groomers and the brakes aren’t chewed up at all. But a tighter fit is always nice.
What skis are you putting them on anyway? If we have the same bindings and similar weight skis I’m going to run out of excuses. ;-)
Helio 116s.
Still on the fence with the impending move and soon-to-be-much-smaller cash flow. But think I'm going to do it.

I asked this in the vipec thread but I guess I should ask it in here as well. Any beta is appreciated
“Does anyone know or have any info on whether or not that fritschi has demo bindings in either a viper or Tecton? Any info would be helpful. I’ve had a mismount on a newish pair of skis(2nd mount). I’m running out of options to salvage these skis. Latest mount is the vipec so thinking a demo vipec/Tecton with adjustable toe and longer heel track could be the answer. Is this a possibility for shops that want to rent them?”
Yeah I remember when they first launched they had demo plates.
I mean if you really had to I bet you could CAD up and CNC some longer alum. plates.
I don't know for sure, but the paper template I downloaded from Wildsnow had a both demo and normal screw pattern for the heel. I believe the demo hole pattern had six screws.
Black Diamond has the 60mm adjustment heel plate, give them a call or email about it. I know because I have some, needed it to make a remount work.
Black Diamond also has these demo plates. The mount in the same holes as Vipec and Tecton. 12 mm stack height. About 50 mm travel. They are meant for non-evo Vipec. Tecton heel is not quite a perfect fit.Attachment 225049
I think I’ll need those regardless. Thanks
Wow! Thanks sooo much . I’ll take the stack height if I can make this work. Save us all a headache , especially if it’s the same holes. Should be able to find out if we can make it work for evo
Yeah, I remember adjustability only in the heels for Vipec demos (longer track). Same fixed mount toe as for regular Vipecs.

Oh do those plates go together for the heels. I was under the impression the two on the left were for adjustable/demo toes and the two on the right the adjustable/demo heel tracks ?

I've never seen those toe plates (and they're not referenced in the installation guide I have on file). That's a good find!

Based on the markings I would say they go together. BD sells a heel only kit too. I think that would be the long plate with different screw pattern.

@Solesides - found the video confirming that TLT6 toe isn't endorsed for working with Tecton/Evo toe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuXDwwNZBjA
TLT6 heel also renders it incompatible with Tecton
BTW Lee, earlier you mentioned transitioning the binding just like in the video when your brake pad cracked. When I first got mine I looked for the video and noticed they had deleted it. Which is interesting.
Big fan overall though- just ordered another pair to replace the kingpins on my skinny BC setup.

seek and you shall find! As the mounting pattern is identical on all vipecs and tectons, the system should work with all generations i would think- Stack height increases a bit, but the measly 25mm rear adjustment on the stock vipec also grows significantly, either by a longer plate in the back or by the system depicted above :)
sorry for not posting this the other day - simply forgot. Crazy week.
