^ whoa, that is kind of weird! Definitely made me look at it a few times. Doesn't even look real with the combination of subject orientation and DoF!
Scott I need some way to follow your photos, got a facebook page/twitter account? I'm constantly amazed by them.
Although I've always wondered, why the word "fotos"? seems a bit, for lack of a better word, naff.
Thanks! I've been kind of lame about sharing lately but here you go: https://www.facebook.com/scottfisherfotos and http://www.flickr.com/photos/scottfishersphotos/
On the fotos thing... there is a professional photographer with my exact name and I'm just a hack. So Scottfisherphotography.com was taken. Someone was squatting on scottfisherphotos.com (it's available now). And my flickr is different too. I never thought this thing out from the getgo and now it's just a big mess. Good thing I'm a hack that doesn't take it too seriously :D
I like your photos, too, Advres. R u selling? I like the waterfalls in Iceland with tourists.

With all the moisture we've been getting around here lately, the creeks have been pretty photogenic.

^^ Send some of that our way. The first big fire of the season is under way and the forests are ripe to go up in smoke as we haven't had any measurable rain in a month now. A couple days of rain in the mountains wouldn't be a bad thing.

Shot of Mt. Hood from last night. Really wish I'd had a longer lens, but I think it turned out ok anyway.

mtcham---that's one of the best blue heron shots I've ever seen---nice job.
Thanks Mock, I don't catch the herons very often but this one gave me several different perches and flights. I was surprised they came out o.k. considering the high iso, bad light, and shooting from a rocking boat.:)
