Think of it as a baptism of sorts….
Heal up, Peruvian. Our season will be back at some point in Jan, hopefully much sooner.
Plenty of water available for soup this morning
51º breezy with 1 7/8" of fresh water in the bowl bob.
Flood alert just posted for the Mad in Moretown later today.
Best start to the winter:rolleyes:

We need some tunes. How about a New Englander singing about about hope and rain?

Or a Vermont band singing about flooding?

At least this storm is delivering as forecasted!

It was fun while it lasted (temp from the weather station at the top of Bolton). Now we wait for cooler temps.
The school I work at just did a very rare early release due to flooding. The river next to the parking lot is about to flood. Here we go again.......
Local weather stations here in Bethel are showing 3.1-4.3". The 3.1" station has a substantial elevation advantage, so maybe saw some frozen precip before stuff got very wet.
LOL
Thanks for delivering the Platty stoke Bucket et al - was really nice to see and I'm glad you were there to take advantage while it was there.
Also good to see a Moeghoul appearance especially after the WV buzz lately. Hope you heal up soon to take advantage of winter 3.0.
The snow in my yard is gone but I had a minute to make a new starter pack.

Before anyone gets too mad, I'm making fun of myself here. LMK if there's a good SAD lamp that shows up on GS!
"That's gold Jerry"
2.5" bob
There was no frozen here, above 32° before the rain started late afternoon at all elevations
And in the midst of all this flooding tomfoolery, the area around Whitegrass ski area in WV has a winter storm warning, expecting 6-14” with no rain.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...31b0815cf7.jpg
Can't be all time all the time "
I've had amazing/outrageous good skiing for many a day in the crusty gnarly east.
I need to go to whitegrass. FKNA
ha! i was still a killington passholder that year and chose to head north that morning. the shitshow locust plague at K kept me from using my pass again til late april...and i still regret not getting to platts!
more scottski. platts opening day 23/23 (less thin, more cover!)

Watched the winooski climb to the top and crest over RT 2 today. The river is FAT! I was not here in July, but this flooding is bad!
On a strange note, I saw someone skinning up bolton around 330pm. If I was alone, I would have thought I was hallucinating. Couldnt be raining much harder...
Heal up Peruvian. I think some Foam sessions with ur buddies Doremite and FussyDutchman will help those ribs….
Daaamn
Record breaking temps n rainfall across Quebec. You can usually count on an early season rip up to Charlevoix when it’s wet down here and winter is having a hard time taking hold. Not this year.
