Saw a piece on Simone Biles tonight. She's impressive, and not just as an athlete. Not the easiest life--single drug addict mom, foster care until adopted by her grandparents. The Larry Nasser thing. Refused to take crap from the Karolyis. And she has a mind--although at 23 she's obviously more interesting to listen to than the average teenage elite gymnast. She's hoping for one more Olympics--for her sake alone I hope they go off this summer. It's going to be tough.
Not impressed--try having major major surgery. When you finally poop you'll need a wheelbarrow to take it out to the backyard to bury it because it won't fit in the toilet.Quote:
