Kinsey's Cut starts under the top station of Alpine Bowl Chair, and goes through the Palisades, under Keyhole, under the Lower Saddle, across High Yellow Face and Gully, and ends at the top of Sherwood Chair. You can usually see the traverse from Summit after you crest the top of D8. It tends to get cut quickly after a storm, because it's the fastest way to the top of Sherwood and it's almost always open even if the hikes are closed. Be careful not to go too high, particularly in Keyhole, where you can find yourself cliffed out.
